It's crazy after so much negativity on the forum these days almost everyone has us making the Top 4, never change CAF

City are gonna run away with the league yet again, I expect Arsenal to surprise a few and secure a Top 4 finish alongwith Liverpool. Us, Spurs and Chelsea to duke it out for last finish inside Top 4.

After a brilliant start Liverpool crash and burn by December and its a two horse race and we nick it with 2 games to spare. The British media has a meltdown again and Jose's critics hide under their anonymity once again.

If Sanchez, Pogba, Rashford, Martial, Bailly, Lindelof & Shaw finally show up and Fred settles in then I could see a title challenge. There's a lot of room for improvement in the current squad and I believe/hope they're all capable of it.

Otherwise we'll be lacking in top class players again and I can see a 5th or 6th placed finish. But I'm optimistic, perhaps naively, for now.

The order of the rest of the top six is hard to predict, depends on many variables. How quick will Chelsea and Arsenal adapt to what the new managers demand? Will Spurs stagnate? Will Jose have another 15/16? There's a lot of questions regarding those four teams that make a solid prediction with any of them at this stage somewhat difficult.

As for relegation
18. Bournemouth (will be Newcastle if Rafa walks)
19. Huddersfield (them staying up last season was a statistical anomaly)
20. Cardiff (Warnock is already getting his excuses in, got a meek relegation with points in the 20's written all over them)

Could see a similar relegation battle to 02/03 If anyone remembers that, the bottom two go down with a whimper and 2/3 teams fight out to avoid joining them.

I think Chelsea are in for a rough season. Great manager but I dont think even he can make Hazard play this season, he definitely wants out. Then shithouses like Luiz, Morata etc. But I also think arsenal and spuds will be in a similar position.

I think we will have a strong middle season period which will secure our 3rd place with no real gap between us and scousers.

City will walk it to 95 points plus.

Not sure I see it that way. A Hazard-Kante-Jorginho-Kovacic-Willian midfield looks just awful to play against (apart from aerially, I'd bet on Fellaini to play against them if I could) once they get the ball down or are chasing it, with the amount of dribbling, pressing, mobility and technical ability. Morata is apparently in poor form but Batshuayi and Giroud have goals in them. Christansen and Rudiger seem great fits for Sarri at CB and Azpilicueta is arguably the most reliably productive defender in the Prem. Need to figure out who the other fullback is and the keeper might struggle a bit his first year but is said to be quality.

I've watched a fair bit of Napoli and Sarri has gotten some fine play out of some limited players (Albiol, Hysaj) and the ones who suit his football like Mertens, Koulibaly and Jorginho went up another level or two under him. I think it will be the same for Chelsea, even if it takes a few months.

Honestly have no idea. City will probably win the league again. Its hard to retain and i think they'll be more focused on the Champions League but just think they're probably that much better than everyone else atm.
No idea with us, could be a Jose meltdown special and having a mountain to climb to make top 4 a couple months into the season. Could be a total machine who grind out enough wins to pip City. Probably somewhere in between and a relatively straightforward top 4 finish.
Liverpool will get relegated cause feck them
Tottenham, they'll do well to finish top 4 based on current squad. Not enough depth, a long summer and better competition from Chelsea and Arsenal will cost them top 4 i think. Just think they needed to freshen their squad up a bit this summer.
Its hard to say with Chelsea, they could buy a new keeper tomorrow, get Kovacic and surprise everyone by getting a striker too. They have too many great players to write off. They dont have a striker good enough to win the league and the Europa League could become a slog but I think they'll reach top 4.
I'd be surprised if arsenal were really in the running for top 4. Think they'll be lagging a bit behind again next season.
Juventus look a decent bet for the Champions League. If i was putting money on it I'd be inclined to get really left field and throw money on Porto or someone. PSG will go out against first decent side they play. Real, Barcelona and other Spanish teams look weaker than they have in a long time, they'll have a decentish run but wont win, or make the final
