Following on from @K2K 's thread from last season. With just over 2 weeks left until the transfer window ends and the season begins, we can start getting our predictions in. I'll bookmark this and check it at the end of the season.

It wouldn’t be a preaseason without Spurs being predicted as finishing outside the top 4 I guess.

Didn't think so last season but this time I do. Think the WC will have taken a lot out of your main/influential players.

Wouldn't have predicted it any of the last couple of seasons, but this year I can see us having a really slow start and it costing us in the end.

I don’t think it will be a much a problem as is being made out Hugo was the only one to get to the final Verts, Dembele and Harry are the only ones that will need a little extra rest. Chelsea and United both had an equally high number of players get to the later stages.

Other leagues/cups (shockingly straightforward for the domestic comps)

Serie A: Juventus
La Liga: Barcelona
Ligue 1: PSG
Bundesliga: Bayern

Europa League: Arsenal
Champions League: No idea. Gonna say not Madrid, not PSG, not Juventus though. Wait and see how Bayern is with Kovac, wait and see how everything clicks at Barca because their collapse vs Roma last season was awful and there haven't been massive changes since, while City and Liverpool both obviously have a shot at it. Have a feeling it'll be an English side, don't think we have a realistic chance.
My guess is one of Barca, Bayern, City or Liverpool though. If I have to pick one, probably City.

Doesn't really matter who got to the final, more matters who got to the semi's as they still trained all that week and played on the weekend (or were unused subs, but point stays). They'll all have their 3 weeks off from the same point basically regardless of how much they played, and then will need their pre-season at the start of the season essentially.
So Lloris, Rose, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dier, Trippier, Dembele, Alli and Kane are all out most likely for the first game and not fully ready for the 2nd I'd guess. So you'll likely have Son, Eriksen, Davies and back ups around them.

think 1, 2 and 3rd could interchange but expect that to be the top 3, also 4th, 5th and 6th could go anyway for those 3, I think Chelsea may struggle again just because they have the Europa to contend with and Sarri is going to be playing a different type of football to what most of that team have played, like City 2 seasons ago I expect them to start on fire but come late October think fitness may start to show, be interesting if Hazard stays. Spurs with the new ground could be interesting, really need Kane to be firing all season but he looked leggy at the WC and will be going straight into the new season without much rest also think they need to freshen up the squad and need to sign a top talent which as yet they haven't done, Arsenal may just fire this season, initially had Arse 6th and Spurs 4th but swapped them round at the last moment as I think they're a better squad than they showed the last couple of seasons under Wegner and if Aubamegyang fires I think they could do really well.
