Doesn't work very well as seen in previous drafts. Be more happy, had they been blocked. This is what @Chesterlestreet was saying before and wanted players like Cantona and Best blocked because they don’t fit in the time frame well
Both @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson and I decided that we didn’t want to block anybody.. It’s upto the managers to defend their team.. Look at it this way, as a manger in your OP you can call out the deficiencies of the said players and convince voters to vote for you
You... are..... xxxxxx..... kidding ..... Me.... !
You're dead to me.
Be more happy, had they been blocked.
What? It was an easy option to avoid far more debates and discussions and worse.I see you are the past the point of making any sense while drunk
Come on. Shilton, Jennings and Southall are standouts. Rest are more than a tier below. Then again, the pool is full of good keepers - not great like Jennings and a few others but more than good enough, so the discrepancy shouldn't be all that glaring.

You're dead to me.
What? I picked him after your turn!
Come on. Shilton, Jennings and Southall are standouts. Rest are more than a tier below.
I'm curious.Nah, there are several who clearly aren't more than a tier below - and at least one people might rank higher than Southall.
Think I know who he is talking aboutI'm curious.
I'm curious.
Oh, him. Careerwise, yeah. Agree. In this time frame, debatable. Anyway someone would pick him soon...Pretty obvious.
I'm not saying I'd have him above Southall myself but he's generally rated at least as highly - and he very clearly isn't more than a tier below by any stretch.
Also, highlight at beginning of every OP, reminding voters to judge based on given time frame and club level onlyThis is what @Chesterlestreet was saying before and wanted players like Cantona and Best blocked because they don’t fit in the time frame well

IMO, you should be declared his official AM if so.
Not fair on the other managers that he gets bailed out. Normal practice is that he loses his turn and picks his 12th man after the drafting has ended.
First pick is different, fair enough to pick for him then.
Anyone want to take a pick?
Semantics.
What? I picked him after your turn!
What a suprise... Peter Schmeichel has also made his way into the draft.
Never done one before (or Indy I think) but thanks anywayWouldn't be surprised to see a similar figure from the other end of the spectrum appear too.
But as the draft masters have stated, it's simply up to the managers to argue pro and con here.
And given that, I'd say that a limited sample size is a «con» in itself. I'll certainly use it as such myself if necessary. If we're simply regarding the players as being prime, it makes a mockery of the cutoff points, so whoever argues against one of these fringe figures should surely be granted the right to simply claim that X barely featured in the relevant frame.
