Television Power

Just gets more ridiculous each week.

Those scenes where ghost was imagining Angie as his conscience were so cringe, my God.

Well... it was better than last week. I swear there are two Ghosts now. One who has become worse than Tommy and trying to kill Tommy.
And one who is the usual Ghost weve seen in previous seasons, the one who baited Dre and spoke to Tate.

Proctor having his own breaking bad moment.

I liked how Tommy had the aim of a Stormtrooper when shooting Proctor.

It’s become a clusterfeck.

Great episode! Though it was bloody overkill with Tommy and Proctor. He just used a pistol with the woman. Sad he died.

I actually enjoyed that episode
Well except, Tommy shooting up proctor but missing aside that one shot to the leg

It was crazy OTT but fun

Just watched the latest episode and I really enjoyed it.

Thought when they grabbed Tariq, that they were going to finally kill him off. Would have been the icing on the cake!

Also can’t stand that fed character - Saxe. Annoying as feck & I hope he gets his head splattered next!

How much more incompetent can you get though ? The FBI knew Ghost met with the witness, even gave her money but still they didn't even attempt to move her right away as security ?? What the hell ?

This show getting more and more ridiculous by the day. Tommy coming in and shooting up Ghost’s flat (and being completely incompetent at it) was hilarious.

Sad Proctor’s dead though, he was a good character. How goofballs like Riq have outlived him is mind-boggling.

There is still time. And with a movie coming out, its the perfect excuse :)

I dunno, I watched the first episode and I couldn't get into it. Plus I've got some many other shows to catch up on at the moment.

It's not just screwing things up though. Tommy's been screwing shit up from the first episode but is still likeable.

Tariq has no likeability. From the stupid shit he does to that annoying face he has. Urgh.

I really believe they're gearing up for a separate show with Tariq now. It makes no sense to give such a shit character, so much importance.

Tommy and Keisha's ass are the best thing about the show. I just want to see what happens tbh, this season has been better than the one before but yeah they need to end it.

Watch a full season. The show is Brilliant. It's up there at the best of them for a reason. It took me a season to get into it. I wasnt feeling it myself. But I was glad I stuck with it. It's amazing.

Um, in what world is this up there with the best of them?

It's moderately enjoyable trash TV at best.

Arent rumours around saying

he will get a spinoff - like hours after the end of Power? If so, then he doesnt die in Power, obviously.

Honestly, this was my own conclusion. I haven't read nor heard these rumors

For me, it's the interaction between Ghost and Tate that I find hilarious

Agreed. Its great. Tate saying im not your bitch, and ghost, just looking at him, saying 'ok, sure'

There is zero chemistry between any of the actors on the show, and their weird attempts at humour (such as Grim raiding Tommy's fridge) are lame.

Also, the number of times law enforcement were close to James with drugs, Tasha with drugs and how they flawlessly shifted $2 million of weight without anyone getting caught was just a teeny bit on the side of unrealistic.

Apart from the main character who is a bit boring, the interactions between the other characters are great. Tommy when he's speaking to his mum or Tasha, Tommy's sidekicks winding each other up, I loved Proctor being massively shady, Tate and his two-faced political nature. All these things are what makes the show very enjoyable.
Anyone saying it's not good because things are not realistic is a bit like saying Luther isn't realistic. It really doesn't matter.

Easy, we just bypassed the entire FBI in one episode

This show has become a very good comedy.

“Derek sorry you had to find out this way”

If this wasn’t the final season, I’d have stopped watching. But I’m really intrigued how they plan on ending this nonsense.

:lol::lol:

Even better was "Tariq. You are always going to deal drugs, so you might as well get an education and deal drugs" FFS

If nothing it's just silly entertainment. I've learnt to just let these things slide and enjoy it for its ridiculousness.

Those last couple of minutes with his mom, wtf :wenger::wenger:
Ghost deluding himself that he "got through to him" :wenger: The show took a massive nosedive once they killed 50cents

Er, I still think it's very entertaining. Can't believe there are people here who are laughing at it being ridiculous and over the top. When you had that really funny camp drug lord in season 1 were you thinking the same thing? I thought there were good (intentional) comedy moments in today's episode involving Tommy and Lakeisha ("now grab his legs"), and those two side kicks of Tommy's who got fired, they're always very funny. I thought all the shameless overblown political/ sexual machinations involving Tate were very amusing as usual, like when he was propositioning that chick from The Shooter and telling her she hadn't ridden the 'Magic Stick'.

Come on guys, this stuff is very funny.

I love this show. Don't know why people are complaining. What is exactly wrong with it? It been like this since the beginning.
