Mile Svilar could be another young goalkeeping option. Apparently he's bounced back well from his CL match against us. Something not a lot of goalkeepers (young or experienced) can do.

Dean Henderson looks a cracking prospect. Should be given a chance imo.

Not sure we want a young goalkeeper behind our defence.

We won plenty with kids once upon a time, but we need experience more than anything right now.

In 95 we had schmeichal, bruce, pallister, keane, irwin, cantona, cole, mcclair (and giggs) who were all experienced pros (and most were leaders) so bedding in youngsters was easier.

Right now we are bereft of leaders in our team, is going to a youth goal keeper the answer? Probably not.

I think we're absolutely fine.

Instead of going for a foreign player who will have an adaptation period, if there's no one we want from the PL, then we are surely 80% there with Romero. Romero with Grant and Henderson as backup is fine for my liking.

Besides, and perhaps more importantly, we'll need that chunk of money for other more pressing areas of the team. No point in blasting nigh on 100mill, perhaps 35-50% of our overall budget on a GK when we have a settled and ready to go Argentinian No.1. That money will be better spent on CB/RM/RB/DM/CM/ST if Lukaku goes.
