‘Tier this, tier that’, ‘you can’t post him, he’s banned’, ‘if this doesn’t happen now we will know he’s a pure bullshitter and should be banned’ and anything else of that ilk.

Thing about those gatekeeping tiers, what if say random example, United were interested in Rice but he signs for Arsenal because he chose Arsenal. Then the journalist’s information was correct (United looking to sign Declan Rice) but because he signed for Arsenal instead of United that is considered a failure of reporting.
