Post-match discussion

Funny I like more of this team, than recent teams. Players I really like include, Bruno, Matic, Shaw, Cavani. Just behind them, Fred, Martial ... come on, Martial, find your mojo again ... Pogba ... in a weird way. De Gea, nearly. McSauce is likeable. I like Mata, too. Alright, Rashford. I want him to set the world on fire. Forget saving the world and play with head as well as heart.

Why the hatred against Wolves? They played decent and didn't kick us.

Super sweet result, hate the game raising twats that only turn up against the big teams.

The way they fell on the floor it was like they'd lost a cup final.

They're our kryptonite. Every time we play them, they bank up and offer the odd, rare foray towards our goal. They lack ambition, play dull football and their manager looks like like an abused spaniel.

Cant be overstated how important that win was, by hook or by crook.

Hate playing Wolves though. Super negative, cynical team that seem to have a bizarre reputation amongst the media of playing beautiful, attacking football.
TBF, they play good football against the other teams, except against us. It is said they played 3-5-2 today. But, it is more like 3-7-0 or 5-5-0.
Really frustrating stuffs.

The way we were playing - after the 75th minute mark, I just wanted a goal anyway possible, even a cheap peno - we needed the 3 points. After injury time, didn't have a hope in hell we'd even fashion a chance worth while. Not sure what I felt seeing that deflect into the back of the net.

3 points - will take those and another 15-20 games just like that if need be.

was this the first time we've beaten them in the league since they've come up?

Not from what I saw today. DeGea had to make as much as good saves today. They had as much attempts as us. Apart from the last 5 minutes they played decent given the fact they had 48 hours break.

They play 5 at the back and hope for counters. When Jiminez plays they boot it long and he holds it up well.

They are the Portuguese Stoke.

I hope I never have to watch us play them ever again the matches are always shite, at least we pulled this one out of the fire

Wasn't a great performance but psychologically has to be our biggest 3 points since the win at Brighton when we looked to be drawing there too

They're one of the most defensive teams in the league. That doesn't mean they won't have chances but they're very negative nonetheless.

That tweet shows you everything you need to know about the match. Wolves are a useless team that only know how to park the bus.

Great result. Average performance but not surprised. We don't have a right side and had an average CM today. And of course there will be games like this in a season anyway.

Having said that I see most of our home games going like this. Till we get a proper RW and switch it up at RB.

Sooner or later our forwards, outside of Rashford, really need to bring in the goods.
Martial and Greenwood were so promising last season.

Huge win, leaves us in a great position heading into the new year. Our forwards haven't even got goin yet, loads more to come from this team.

Wolves never make it easy to play against, never looked like we'd score but massive 3pts, hopefully 3 more v Villa :)

Tbf, Wolves tactic is spot on for them. They created more chances than us and DDG had to make some very good saves. They play to their strength. They could have won it.

Why are we complaining? It was like Kloop complaining all the time that other team didn't play into Liverpool tactic.

Didn’t Dalot miss a sitter at the very end in the same game last season?

I dont know what some were watching but we got a lucky break there. I thought overall it was probably Wanderers who were narrowly the better team. We seemed too ponderous and never thought we were going to score. It took a flukey deflection. Oh well you need luck sometimes if you are going to challenge for the title.

Yeah, they played much better football than Spurs a few days ago, who now play like they're being managed by Tony Pulis.

You need your eyes checked. Neither my eyes nor the xG map back this up at all.

Yeah looked so much like we were going to open that door for the scousers to open up a 7 point lead, luckily we managed to find a bit of Park in 2010 late drama against Wolves and 3 HUGE points

I'm baffled you could watch that and think Wolves were the better team.

If we had got three points against Leicester we would be on equal points to Liverpool.

Well we had crap luck in the last match to get that OG. I guess its evens out at the end of the season.

Yeah that is the frustrating thing but we still have that Burnley game to play and if you offered me a 5 point defecit going to Anfield would have taken it
