Seriously, what are you on about? That is clearly out looking down along the line.

The Japan goal looked out but was clearly in when you looked at the correct angle. Ie looking down along the line

Agreed, you can see grass between the line and the widest part of the ball, so it is out. Thankfully it was irrelevant in the end though.

Alot of people lumping Maguire and Lindelof together when reviewing matches- I don't.

I still have almost utter confidence in Lindelof every game.
I almost never have complete confidence that Maguire won't do something to throw away a game.

100% agreed. Lindelöf at the back with either Varane or Martínez is a decent rotation option. He was more than solid as late as 11 days ago against Leicester, alongside Licha. He's still better on the right side so even with Shaw helping out as a CB I'd look for a left-footed rotation option in the summer.

I don't think all the trophy parading and presenting did us any favours. Need to be concentrating on the game ahead
This point is well made. Felt a bit strange. Or maybe we are just not used to getting shiny things.

We scored a goal just like that going back, the ball went out like that. VAR do not check for that. It is up to the linesman to see it.
if you mean the one against West Ham, no angle proved that. you didn't need VAR to see wednesday's - all you needed was to be watching ITV

He's on about perspective and angles, I thought that was clear?

There was no straight camera view along the lines shown in this case.

It’s been posted above mate. The post he was replying to?

Yes - the poster responded by asking a question, which is why I buttressed the first point again. Even if it made complete sense the first time.
Perspectives made by camera angles can be deceptive, simple as.

No, you can‘t see from this angle. It could be just in or just out.

Looks out to me but it’s impossible to tell 100% from the picture. If they’re going to have a rule where a ball can still be in by 1mm above the line, then they should have technology that can accurately measure it, like with goal line technology. If they don’t have the means to measure it sufficiently then change the rules.

The only way would be to implement the goal line technology, no idea if that its technically possible, as far as I know the actual rule hasn't changed, the whole of the ball has to be over the line

No, the poster responded by making a statement that it wasn’t clear.

That angle (the only angle you can judge it on as it’s looking directly down the pitch line) made it pretty clear to me.

It is not looking straight down the line.
