PL W FA Premier League

West Ham United 0:2 Manchester United

Post-match discussion

For sure. Problem is, if history is anything to go by, we're gonna get fecked by the refs for the next 10 games because Dean made those controversial calls in our favor this time. Not saying there's any conspiracy against us or things of that nature, but overcompensation is a thing and it's annoying.

We were fecked by Mason in the last!

We start to get more 2:0s

31:19 Goals
Tottenham, Arsenal and City are better and these are the challengers for Top4

6 PL wins in a row.
11 unbeaten in the league.
13 unbeaten in all competitions.
7 wins in a row in all comps for the first time since April 2011!!

Oh also, have that you bus smashing cnuts!!!!!

Brilliant by Mourinho today, bringing Mata and Rashford on was spot on! Still makes me laugh how many people were desperate for us to get rid of Mata just because he doesn't defend well, he is a little maestro not a defender and he scores alot of valuable goals from midfield!

Thought Herrera looked tierd today but the team almost picks itself now. Where does Rooney play when he is back?

With all the games coming up, we'll need all the experience we can get

Terrible performance. First half was unreal then we gave them two huge chances in the 2nd half. And the Valencia Lingard not given offside, can't score from 3 yards, incident was laughable.

Well done Rashford. One of the few players to actually use his brain during that match.

Ref and Linesmen were spectacularly bad. Red card decision wrong. Valencia offside for ball not quite crossing the line incident. Zlatan offside for his goal. No yellow card for deliberate hand-ball just outside the box. No yellow card for wild challenge on Mkhitaryan. Probably more mistakes than that.

Dire, for the most part, and very lucky with the refereeing. But nobody will care about that at the end of the season.

Most importantly, we've got yet another win. Would be great if the fecking teams above us would start dropping some points.
Liverpool did today, and one of Chelsea or Spurs will on Wednesday (maybe both!). As long as we grind out the wins, we'll get to where we want to be eventually.

Not the best performance. The first half was so, so poor but we showed much more intensity in the second half and Mou absolutely killed it with his substitutions.

Quite remarkable that we're still 6th but all we can do is win our games and after 6 wins in a row you can't complain. All eyes on the next league game against Liverpool now, if we get a bad result there then it'll be incredibly disheartening after keeping up a good chase for so long.

Most enjoyable win of the season.

Injustuce everywhere.
Terrible ref.
Awful linesman.
Playing vs 10 men.
We weren't great.
Counter goal after a clear chance missed.
Finished off with an offside goal.

All featured as we beat that scummy club. I hope the misery they faced tonight continues through 2017.
I think the stadium sets the tone for the type of match you'll experience and there's is abysmal!

Got very lucky IMO. We didn't look up for it for large parts of the match, De Gea kept us in it when the outfield switched off. Good professional performance after Mata got the goal.

Not a great performance but the full points over the festive period which is the main thing.

Sad that we are continually talking about officials after matches, they need to start having better performances.

On to Liverpool!!

Fantastic result, the subs changed the game. Although I'd never have started Lingard.

That stadium though. Awful atmosphere. Heard Neville once say he couldn't comment because he was sat so far away. Every game there will feel like a friendly.

People will talk about us being lucky because of Dean and his assistant and those are the same people that didn't utter a word about Lee Mason after Saturday.

Ugly game. Bad performance but we still won. We are always going to have a few of these games but it's nice to see us pulling of a win. Since SAF's retirement we've made a habit of losing or drawing matches like these. Pleasant change.

I really don't care how shit we were. The important thing at this stage is picking up the 3 points, staying in touch so if anyone fecks up in the top 4, we'll be there to take advantage.

Much needed rest for some of our starters hopefully.

Need to keep the winning run going.

The officials made some questionable decisions there's no question about that - but maybe with everyone talking about it, the FA might take some action to either help the referees or introduce a system to make them more accountable.

Referees are fecking atrocious, again.

Only caught the second half because of work, but you could see the players on both sides were knackered.

Very harsh red for WH, this time we benefited from incompetent refs, but something really has to be done here. Seems almost every match now there is some big decision that the refs bottle

Love beating the Cockney's.

Rashers and Mata hugely influenced that result with their timely inclusion (Hats off to Jose) particularly Rashford due to his pace and alround dynamic. Not the best performance of the season and let's face it, Mike Dean certainly played his part being our 12th man and all, but hey we were due a few poor decisions going in our favour.

That's 6 encounting. Dippers next - they won't know what hit 'em.

Come on United!

Huge win. We looked really tired at the start of the game and the red card helped things a lot in terms of eliminating their counters. Mata coming on at half time changed the game IMO, though of course Rashfords impact was the decisive one. Rojo and Jones very good again, what a turn around for them. Valencia solid as always, though his attacking wasn't as good as normal (looked more tired and less marauding which is understandable). Carrick gave us much needed composure.

De Gea's save was probably the key moment. Concede that and I doubt we'll get anything. Instead, rashford shows good composure and picks out mata with a great finish. Also Mata really should start more. He's just such a brilliant player. Though issue is of course Mkhitaryan is quality and probably that bit more dynamic, but I just feel like Mata should be starting more often then not. Especially in the last game he should've started.

Ibra was a bit shit and definitely looked more tired then usual. Good finish even though he was offside. Got a goal in the end and that's all you can ask!

Thought we'd drop points tonight so relieved about the result.

Finally some luck in the ref department as well.

What are you, some sort of cricket fan?

All the ones on here moaning we getting all bad luck will have to think again. Against 10 men a pedestrian approach when we could of gone for the jugular and boosted our goals for column. Both teams were as tired as one another, but they still seemed to have 11 men on the pitch the way we played.

like the way we're grinding points. Now i believe bad decisions that cost us will get evened out over the course of season

Was it offside though?
It looks like Herrera is just trying to block the clearance up field. That may technically make it an unintentional pass.

3 Points- back of the net!

Chill

Do you think any of the ABUs out there are going to buy that?

Decent win for Utd. Never looked overly troubled. Referee harsh on WH. Goals were well taken. Good substitutions from Mourinho.

Poor performance but we got the win which is the main thing. Lingard and Darmian can never start on the same side again; preferably with Darmian never actually playing for us again.
