Just imagine if we had Osihmen instead of WW.
Wasn't watching the BT coverage care to elaborate? against Sociedad a penalty was given when the ball deflected off Martinez knee and that was given as a handball and yet tonight wasn't?The lady in the BT studio explained the rule.
It's very disturbing that we allow a team to score almost three times as many goals as they deserve according to xG.

8 goals and 3 assists in his first 30 games doesn't seem too bad tbh
I thought it was classic ETH and the perfect decision.Good result, wrong team on the pitch.
Mr Best likes this comment...Play Pellestri more and Antony less.
That's not true is it. He didn't just make one howler, he was the reason after Betis scored that we didn't keep control of the game until half time. His distribution was horrendous and put us on the backfoot. The howler he had was his third or fourth poor goalkick. That's very bad.And De Gea getting a lot of stick after this game. He made 1 howler which was entirely on him with the pass to a Betis player, but harsh to blame him for their goal and Dalot was more at fault for the one earlier in the game.
He didn't really have much to do overall. Shakey in the first half but so we're quite a few and could have taken the second half off.
Completely agree.I thought it was classic ETH and the perfect decision.
Don’t single out any one person, hold them collectively accountable and give them a chance at redemption.
Couldn't have gone better.

Half decent first half excluding the De Gea clangers. I think the 7-0 followed him mentally into this game. He was really nervy and it was affecting our defensive cohesion. Great goal smashed in by Rashford, he just can't stop scoring. We then created some chances and got punished by a mistake, can happen.
Second half we were a different proposition entirely. Created chance after chance and did not let in. These past years we usually take our foot off the gas; it wasn't the case tonight, it was a real onslaught.
Special mention to Wan Bissaka, he did an excellent job when he came on and transformed our threat from his side. If he wasn't already, he's certainly ahead of Dalot now. Pellistri had a great cameo. What he did for the goal felt like it happened in slow motion from the Stretford End. Very happy for Weghorst: the greatest player of all time.
Jack Grealish 6 goals and 3 assists in 33 games this games, similar price tag for both players but Jack the lad doesn't seen to attract the same attention with the UK media. One English the other Brazilian might have something to do with it...8 goals and 3 assists in his first 30 games doesn't seem too bad tbh
His clear love of his time here & his passion for the sport is very emotionally engaging.
Yep. Herrera will always have a spot in my footballing heart, no doubt.I love having guys like him on the team. One of the reasons I love football is the passion of a Wout, especially when so many people rip on him on here.
Kind of like when Herrera would go freaking crazy when we scored when he was on the bench years ago. Made me respect the guy forever.

Or people watch games.
Come on, Grealish got a whole season on him and is literally 5 years older.Or people watch games.

Let's give Antony this season and then we can judge. He for sure is doing better than Sancho who's been a complete shadow in his second season and there's barely any noise made about it.
How is that accidental? And he gained from this “accident”. Ridiculous decision. I’m more pissed off for our very weak protest.
Sancho: 32 chances created in 1.252 mins. (39,1 mins per chance created)
Grealish: 55 chances created in 2.203 mins. (40,1 mins per chance created)
Antony: 25 chances created in 2.011 mins. (80,4 mins per chance created)
Is he though?
I seriously dislike these stats.Sancho: 32 chances created in 1.252 mins. (39,1 mins per chance created)

Good performance, great result. Should've been more. Would've been more if Rashford stayed on. This should allow us to rest players for the second leg if required.
As for the players' reaction after Sunday, they largely delivered. I'm afraid Dalot played himself out of the starting XI and DDG only kept his place due to no better alternative. But on the positive side, Bruno completely dominated the second half, Rashford went back to scoring and Antony could've had a hattrick.
But the highlight was Weghorst scoring at the Stretford End. He doesn't have the ability of a United player but he has the heart of one. Really happy for him. Pellistri was also fantastic when he came on, as he has been every time. Hope EtH sees him as a genuine alternative to Antony on the RW.
Antony, the guy who scored the game-winner, or a different Antony?

How about you replace that sentence with "aren't convinced one is particularly better than the other".Watching the games, not sure how you can say Sancho has done more than Antony for us this season. Crucial goals just one thing. I am sure Sancho will come good, and I bet it's sooner than later but the Antony agenda on here goes too far. People have already made up their mind.
Ruud van Nistelrooy …
I suppose it was really an accident that the ball hit him but I think he moved his arm to guide the ball as it rolled down his forearm. Whistle! Free-kick!I don't understand this either, especially since we were penalised for an accidental handball somewhere close to the midfield in the 2nd half, I believe it was Wout. So if you accidentally handball nowhere near goal, it's a handball, but if you accidentally (or intentionally) handball, but pass the ball and then the next player scores, it's not a handball? How does this make sense to anyone?

You need to book an appointment at SpecsaversAntony the guy who was terrible for 89 minutes and 55 seconds of that game.
Just like it is to conceive 2.4 childrenThen again it’s very difficult to concede, say 0.42 goals in a football match.
