I suspect that if he was good enough he'd be playing. So what would it take? For him to become a better footballer. What would it take to see Zirkzee play #10 and Chido lead the line?
Hojlund is absolute waste of space, at this point. Zirkzee actually had a decent game, but he was nowhere close to scoring, probably would have been even more effective if he played instead of the wasteful Garnacho. And Chido, I understand he is too young to start against City, but in famous words of Sir Alex "if they are good enough, they are old enough", time to give him some real chance against some opponent before season is over
ABUs in tears over that. Wanted us to get hammered, instead we look better than city so they claim to be delighted at 0-0 because it helps Villa and Newcastle...![]()
Not necessarily. He is very young, so they may be hesitant to put pressure on his shoulders, despite him very likely being much better than Hojlund's current formI suspect that if he was good enough he'd be playing. So what would it take? For him to become a better footballer.
He's not wrong, that was exactly what the gameplan was and we executed it pretty well
I heard a stat yesterday that Cunha has spent the highest amount (or proportion?) of minutes in the league at walking pace. Kinda puts me off.Better team alright. Wasted good chances and positions as usual.
Cunha and Osimhen would improve us hugely.
We're poor in final third. First half Dalot sent in a great cross but Garnacho failed to take advantage of it. Later on Dorgu was in clear situation but probably decided not to shoot with Bernardo Silva just behind him. Second half City were better until 70th minute and then we had some promising attacks but ultimately (unsurprisingly) failed to score. We got better with Zirkzee and Mount on the pitch instead of Hojlund and Ugarte.
Another solid performance against a good side (as bad as City have been this season) and a promising performance in some ways as well. We were bit better all in all but it's definitely a 0-0 draw. One more point and hopefully over last 7 games we'll pick up a decent amount of points to end the season in a positive way. Europa obviously priority.
Absolutely 100% categorically undeniably not. I'd be surprised if it even lasted ten seconds on match of the day 2Didn't get the opportunity to watch it should I bother later? At least didn't lose and didn't concede.
Absolutely not, do something elseDidn't get the opportunity to watch it should I bother later? At least didn't lose and didn't concede.
I wasn’t watching before then, is what I meant.25 years ago takes us to 2000 when we had Yorke Cole Sheringam and Solskjaer.
This is the worst attack we've had for about 40 years at least!
Didn’t see that. Just going off what I’ve seen of him, strong dribbler and scores goals.I heard a stat yesterday that Cunha has spent the highest amount (or proportion?) of minutes in the league at walking pace. Kinda puts me off.
Fans who support globally supported club want to see a Manchester derby at Old Trafford shocker.Awful game, flat atmosphere and about a billion tourists in the East Upper.
Even the protest was crap. About 15 people in East upper stayed
Some want him just for the sake of signing a EPL-proven big name. He wouldn't suit us that much and has got a terrible character.I heard a stat yesterday that Cunha has spent the highest amount (or proportion?) of minutes in the league at walking pace. Kinda puts me off.
Certainly a level above anyone in our squadBruno was a stratosphere ahead of every single other player from both teams on that pitch today. If we win the EL, it will be because he’s dragged us over the line in the upcoming rounds. World class.
Interested in an explanation too. As a United member who attends as many games as I can (long time season ticket ‘waiting’ person too, and would happily take a cup ST), am I viewed as a tourist then or ‘day tripper’ as used to be banded about.Fans who support globally supported club want to see a Manchester derby at Old Trafford shocker.
I will never understand this whole tourist problem. Please do explain it to me.
It absolutely destroys the atmosphere in the ground. They’re more concerned with getting selfies than chanting on cheering the team on.Fans who support globally supported club want to see a Manchester derby at Old Trafford shocker.

I wouldn’t if you go on a few games. Me and the lad aren’t season ticket holders but are on the list. We’ve been to all but 3 games so far this season.Interested in an explanation too. Not members’ fault if a ST holder doesn’t want to go to the derby today.
Yeah that confused me when they mentioned that City would be happy with a draw. They badly need the points with Forest and Chelsea not letting up, and Villa and Newcastle breathing down their necks.
Agreed and whilst it is frustrating with cameras taking videos and their megastore bags etc, they are a paid up member just like any other and are applying for tickets in the same manner or waiting for ST returns (I assume). I can’t see how the club can differentiate to be honest and it definitely benefits the club financially (albeit not benefiting atmosphere-wise).I wouldn’t if you go on a few games. It’s the fact they’re are so many fans (especially today it seems) that are from all over the world, don’t know songs and don’t really vocally support the team in a game that could have really done with it.
I guess they spend more in the megastore though so are more appealing
I'm not sure it's a stamina thing but more of a creativity issue. We often play better when Bruno is moved into the centre and we're often chasing for a winner or equalizer in games. Bruno still gets forward but it means we get another attacking player on the pitch when he takes over in the centre.Ref was a disgrace
We're improving
We can't score
Ugarte can't play a full 90 which is concerning, I thought he came with a reputation of a never-injured always-running engine.
Agree. And I think we just shaded that. Should win home games, of course, but - apart from the criminal lack of a reliable goalscorer - we looked pretty well set up to me. No attacking finesse, but some effective football.Performances are improving, i think the wing back roles are learning in the team just missing a little up front but we're looking better
