Absolute non-event. Just like this game has been all week.

Doesn’t matter. We know we’ve got shite up front. The team performances in these big games are improving. If Amorim and the new lot upstairs have an eye for talent so can change the recruitment woes, we might be going somewhere.

Decent performance, better chances than City, Hojland completely anonymous yet again.

Pissed off that ref blew the final whistle when we were still attacking - especially as the game was stopped for the first 30 seconds of the 4 minutes added time.

Completely fine up until the final third, where our attackers and wingbacks had a lack of quality which is pretty much the normal for us

Another good game for Casemiro and Fernandes, Maguire and Mazraoui pretty good at the back

We need a couple of player to play in the front three. The ones we have are just not good enough.

Never really felt we were going to score, though we were the better team by far today. Just nobody who knows how to score up there.

Garnacho had good moments but fizzled out 2nd half. Dorgu is incredibly average. Hojlund non existent as usual.

Bruno, Dalot, Mazraoui, Yoro all quality today. Casemiro and Ugarte did a good job in the middle too.

Thought we worked really hard and didn't do badly at all. Unfortunately we cannot score - that will be sorted out in the transfer window I'm sure. Until then, let's hope the goals come in the Europa.

Said it after the Forest game and will say it again....give us Amad back, a proper centee forward and replacement for Garnacho and we win that game.

Same as the match against Forest, just lack that cutting edge. We played well and I'm looking forward to Lyon and to see next season what this team with fresh reinforcements can do.

3 best United players today:

1) Bruno
2) Maguire
3) Yoro

3 worst United players today:

1) Ugarte
2) Højlund
3) Dalot

We dominated the game in the last half an hour, which perhaps isn't a big deal against this City side, but it's still encouraging before the Lyon game.
Our finishing is awful. Zirkzee should start Thursday

Zirzkzes little cameo shows that with a better striker up top we will cause more issues. TBF Maguire showed it against Forest in the 5 minutes he went on

What would it take to see Zirkzee play #10 and Chido lead the line?

Hojlund is absolute waste of space, at this point. Zirkzee actually had a decent game, but he was nowhere close to scoring, probably would have been even more effective if he played instead of the wasteful Garnacho. And Chido, I understand he is too young to start against City, but in famous words of Sir Alex "if they are good enough, they are old enough", time to give him some real chance against some opponent before season is over
Zirkzee had arguably our best chance - forced a good save out of Ederson with a first time shot with his left peg

We have definitely gotten better. No more fear of being overrun by better teams like the EtH era.

Agains Newcastle, can we please see:

- Bruno playing alongside Ugarte as #8. He was pretty good in that role this season
- Mount and Zirkzee #10s, Garnacho benched
- Chido leading the line

We are not fighting for much in the league, and we need to try something different

Awful awful refereeing. Silva and Dias should both have been off and in a game like that it's a decider

Fairly decent overall performance, but need so much more quality up front.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a weaker attack in my time as a United fan, as far as I can remember. The rest of the team is going in the right direction but once things get to the final third it’s abysmal

Two games since the international break in which we have been the far better team, but cant hit the net.

A proper striker is badly needed. But im starting to see some glimmers of gold amid the shite thats been this season.

The quality of this team reminds me of the default players you get when you start a master League campaign on PES.

Sky can get in the bin. Yes it was a poor game but we are used to seeing us lose these games by 2 or 3 typically in the last years. This City team aren’t the same obviously but lesser teams have played us off the park at Old Trafford this season.

We are growing as a team, just lack a cutting edge. Just like against Forest, we probably deserved the win.

Perfectly controlled game. Amorim set us up well and we executed our gameplan brilliantly, except the scoring part as usual. So many chances spurned. Bruno best player on the pitch. Even first half and we were clearly better than Citeh 2nd half. Clear signs that Amorim-ball can go toe-to-toe with the best. With a better striker and a Garnacho-replacement we'd have at least 2 goals this game.

I don’t think I’ve seen a ref blow that quick over added time when the attacking team has the ball just outside the box “

Crap but we win with just one better attacker on the pitch I think. City were worse than us.

We deserve to draw every week at the moment. Decent up until we have to score.

Yeah, bit of a bore. Decent build up work but, we just seem to break down right at the 18 yard line.

Defensively solid though and that's a nice feeling at least.

So many of our players have 2/3 - or less - of what is needed. I’ve never seen United with as many glaring deficiencies as this particular side. We were lucky in this City being the worst it’s been in a decade.

This match was tepid. We got into some good scoring positions but promptly shat the bed. Whatever we’re doing isn’t enough. Hope we rise to the challenge in Europa.

We’d have won easily if we had just a shred of quality up front.

Really want chido to be given more minutes up top. He is obviously young but zeikzee isn't any goal threat and hojlund a non entity
