The only excitement is in wondering if we can outdo the mediocrity of the previous performance.Does anyone really care anymore? There's no enjoyment to be taken from this club.

As a neutral, I think Liverpool are getting way too much credit. The only reason United are still in with a shout is because the Scousers totally lacked a cutting edge and clinical nature up front. Honestly, they looked timid at the start but grew into the game (how could they not when United are playing so passively and meek?).
Honestly, I think all it takes is an early United goal at OT next week and that timid Liverpool will be on show again. If they get to ~30 minutes still 0-0, I'm afraid they'll probably do you on the counter attack.
Timid Liverpool? De Gea was amazingly good and kept the score down singlehandedly.
Even if Liverpool concede early next week they'll know 1 goal from them will mean United have to score 4.
Liverpool are getting credit because they played very well.
Im completely disillusioned. It was a shambles. There didn't seem to be a gameplan. No threat going forward. All I know is Real, Barca , Bayern et al would not put up with this kind of mediocrity.
Hard to disagree with any of that. Perhaps it's a generational thing.Ouch
Coz LvG and Fellaini are friends. Normal players need to get fit, play an U21 match, then get 20 mins, 60 mins and then 90 mins. But Fellaini can start playing straightaway anytime.

Fellaini was not the best player...not by a long shot.
We aren't out of the tie at 2-0.
Have the BBC or anyone else criticised the United fans?
Yes.
One example
'United fans have let themselves down'
5 live Sport's Juliette Ferrington says there were unsavoury chants heard from the away end at Anfield during Liverpool's 2-0 Europa League win over Manchester United.
United fans were reportedly heard chanting in reference to the Hillsborough disaster, in which 96 Liverpool supporters died in 1989.
Ferrington said: “It wasn’t continuous but it was clearly audible maybe four or five times.”

This is United... against Liverpool... in Europe - for the first time in my entire life time. If you can't get up for this game, hang your fecking boots up.
We really are.
What possible sequence of events do you envisage that results in us beating a decent mid-table Premier League team by 3 goals, when they know that they only need a draw?
An away goal after about 25 minutes and it really will be. That said, I can't see us putting 3 past them anyway - who'd score for us? We had one shot last night. ONE.
And not concede? 2-1 would have been an open game but 2-0 is a fantastic cushion in a Euro awaystandard weak performance at Anfield. Liverpool will be just awful at OT. My only question is wether we will take our chances.
No he clearly wasn't. United were poor but (although DDG was obviously on another planet as your best player) even though losing I'd give it to Smalling who generally did well breaking up the wave of attacks on the edge of your box. This from 365 :Outfield player for United, he was close if not the best which is not saying much as the rest were a fecking embarrassment.
Really ? As Scholes and Rio said/intimated ... Liverpool under Klopp are improving all the time. Performances in the big matches have generally all been good to very good, next week is another big match and I've no doubt we'll turn up and score a goal (or two). Meaning of course that United will need to score at least 4 to progress.standard weak performance at Anfield. Liverpool will be just awful at OT. My only question is wether we will take our chances.
You have been brutally below par in a lot of games under Klopp very recently. Got extremely lucky at Palace over the weekend as well.Really ? As Scholes and Rio said/intimated ... Tell that to Scholes & Rio then. Their opinion or yours ... hmmm tough call. This notion that you are continually improving is a myth and an exaggeration being peddled because of the match last night where we were mind numbingly underwhelming. .
I said recently that the more first teamers that come back, the bigger problem it will be. LvG yet again stumbled on a team and style that worked. As soon as players came back he wouldn't be able to stop himself messing with the team and undoing the feelgood factor. It's just really weird but the more of our senior players are playing the more ponderous we look. Sometimes I think we should just revert to the lineups we played against Midgetland and Arsenal with loads of youngsters and let them have a go. It's not like we got anything to lose because as it looks right now we won't make the top 4 with our first team players on the pitch every week either.
I thought exactly the same over recent weeks, Death or Glory lets play the kids and feck off the seniors who cant be arsed. It's just really weird but the more of our senior players are playing the more ponderous we look. Those performances were a lot better, the kids were bringing enthusiasm, energy and lack of fear. They pulled the like of Morgan/Ander and Juan along with them. Yet LvG doesn't like this and Carrick comes back, Darmian who cannot play as an attacking fullback. Fellaini is now back, Valencia won't be long. BFS and his bulk will be brought back in. It is sad. God help us if Rooney gets fit he will be back in. Got to get him ready for the Euros don't you know. He will stink the place out, like he does when coming back from injury, get rushed back for England, get injured again and we will be stuck with him.I thought exactly the same over recent weeks, Death or Glory lets play the kids and feck off the seniors who cant be arsed.
