Leicester were terrible though and barely put up a fight.

We just looked far more free, like we were enjoying playing. I realise it's Leicester, but that positive attitude out there was undeniable. Doesn't matter how poor the opposition are. Attitude is an entirely separate thing, and United were oozing positivity tonight.

Well, finally some fun watching. Great play from the forwards at times, really enjoy watching Amad and Garnacho. I don't think Zirkzee was as bad as maybe some made out, he just needs time. Casemiro and Bruno put in a great game though, not just the goals. Looked like they had a point to prove and they did, albeit against the Leicester B team. Will need to be more solid defensively at the weekend by far, but thats for then.

Granted it was a changed Leicester side (6 from the last game), and the two goals conceded were poor, we're through to the next round, 5 goals scored, no new injuries, good game from Casemiro and Ugarte. Controlled 2nd half

Enjoyable watch. We played some lovely fluid football for large periods.
Casamiro back to his old best. Bruno and Garnacho had great games.
Defence had its usual dodgy moments.

Good result. The play was much better than we have seen this season but we are still a long way away from where we need to be. This was a Leicester side that made quite a few changes.

That said, the players turned up, entertained and at this stage and given what has happened this week, it's all we can ask for.

Glad to see Bruno get a couple, he needs it for his confidence. Casemiro was great too when partnered with Ugarte. Still not feeling the Rashford vibe and would prefer Amad to start. Personally I feel he offers a different dimension down the other flank. I find zirkzee so wasteful but saying that, he always manages to get in good positions. That end product is missing and hopefully we see some big improvements over the next 12 months.

All in all, a happy Wednesday evening. Looking forward to Chelsea, it is a must must must win game.
