Manager has to start being questioned. He needs to find solutions soon

Feel for Martinez

Incredibly shit day

Not that we’re good but I’ve never known such a terrible team to somehow always beat us at OT. Their form seems to always upturn around the time they play us.

Gutless performance. Started each half brightly, only to quickly regress to slow ponderous play with way too many touches. Eriksen should have been fiven a full half.

So, so, so bad today.

I’m not going to bother going into player performance threads, no one deserves more than 4/10 if we’re being generous. Zirkzee and Mazraoui stood out as especially bad but there was so much sloppiness in possession across the whole team

I'm almost indifferent these days. Maybe the only thing that I think sucked today was Licha's injury.

It's like us when we play City or Liverpool to be fair. Sometimes a team just gets up for games

People can moan about the system but the truth is, you can’t polish a turd.

The squad is cooked, we’re devoid of quality up front. We’ve never looked so toothless in the last 35 years.

In a game where we have 11 - 0 corners, we somehow still concede from a set piece and fail to score from one. Boggles the mind. Never seen a team waste as many opportunities and good positions as this. Zirkzee and hojlund are absolutely tragic. So infuriating.

Ah man, I was so sure this would be the scoreline and didn't put any money on it!

We're just terrible. The vast majority of this squad are not Close to a top 4 club standard. We might have a few years yet before we can escape lower/mid table obscurity.

Don’t care about the league to be honest. We need to win the Europa League and the FA CUP though.

Can't believe we gave Maguire an extension. We never learn our lesson at this club.

We deserve to be where we are. Actually our position flatters because there is no way we are the 13th best team in the country. Spurs are better, Everton are Better, Wolves are better.

Bullied. Absolutely bullied

Physically dominated all over the pitch

Intensity with this team begins in injury time when chasing goals. Can we not for once just see some intensity from the kick off

The most galling bit about how we play is that we need 200 passes to try and create an attacking opportunity (which largely end in nothing), only to be undone by just a couple of passes on the transition. The whole set up of the team and how our players operate in it is just awful.

No attacking spark any where
Palace cut us through quite easily a few times too. It's pretty wild how they got a couple of big easy chances when we are playing a system that should be more secure in theory than a 433.

Not good enough at either end of the pitch. A set piece we let the Palace player win (Yoro. a slight push but probably not enough for a foul and didnt attempt to get one), Maguire and Yoro being undone by a pass in behind for the 2nd. First half we were okay and had some efforts but couldnt get any on target and lacked any presence in the box where a couple of decent balls went in and nobody was there. The tactics were very suspect and the fact neither Zirkzee or Hojlund were starting was telling. Their play is what you'd expect from bench players at the 13th best team in the league. The problem is we dont have someone up front to start.

can we get 43-year old ibra out of retirement? I'm only half joking
