Manchester United 3:0 Crystal Palace

The thing I liked the most is we made palace look terrible. We took control of the game, minimised mistakes and played as a team. We have the players, we just need to learn to play together like today. Good performances from everyone, even Donny looked a bit less scared. I was very impressed with Gore, very tidy player, he needs a loan at a prem or championship team this Jan to continue his development.

It was nice to relax and watch a game for the first time this season, it only took 8 games. Hopefully we build from this. Shout out to Amrabat, he was class. Also, to Maguire, looked assured, no stupid mistakes. Was his best performance in a United shirt for a very long time, I hope it continues.

Good to see Casemiro getting back to his best and not having to worry about Eriksen starting again. Same again please.

Why does Steve Bruce say Man last vowel ?

Is he a knob head ?

Did my eyes deceive me or was Martial actively pressing

I liked Pellistri. I think he has a certain level of flair that may see him become a good winger. He can pass and take on an opponent something evidently players that make 350k a week cant do :wenger:

I'm confused with Garnacho. He seems to overcomplicate things sometimes while othertimes he makes things look so simple.

I'm still unclear about our formation tonight. Frank Lindelbauer was on steroids tonight. And even Maguire was ok. Probably because CP are just shite though.

Overall superb and entertaining. I'm willing to accept ups and downs in our performance if we are seeing the future of Man Utd (Hannibal, Hojlund, Garnacho, Gore, Pellistri, Mount).

Amrabat is the missing piece. We lost control when he came off and Palace actually created some chances.

Varane also makes a huge difference. Palace's biggest chance came from Evans getting caught out playing Mateta onside. It's no coincidence our defensive numbers with and without Varane are night and day in since he came here.

And that was Dan Gore's 19th birthday, what a way to remember it. Ten Hag saying he and the coaches don't give players chances, like a birthday present for Gore, the players earn the chance. They train every day to their maximum and they then play.

how is this the best performance, it's one of the most boring game, we've been in control but really we had a single chance and one corner which wouldn't be converted 19/20 times. Could have easily been 0:0. Slightly better team, who can press and we are fecked.

Can't believe this is entertaining for anyone. Why are players instructed to shit their pants being over the line and play the back to centrebacks? I guess this is the Ten Haag ball.
This guy was not happy.

Was Palace shit or did they just not have any idea how to handle the fluidity of our team? Mount played everywhere and Lindelof must have played in 5 different roles tonight

Rested players, and passed the ball around a bit. Saved a lot of energy tonight! Extremely timely.

Performance and tactics were interesting, but it's really hard to judge as Palace had 0 ambition.

Case motm, Amrabat really promising too.

You can only beat what's in front of you, but Palace were pretty awful, it has to be said.

It's been a while since we've had an easy game and they won't come much easier than Palace tonight. We played some good football from a starting eleven that didn't look promising

It’s funny how fielding 3 players comfortable with the ball at their feet suddenly makes the team much more cohesive.

I truly believe that we will see a whole different display on the pitch once/if we get everyone back from injury

I’ve seen him smile more, work harder, press and link up well when he knows he’s going to get the ball at some point.

Playing with Rashford would really suck the life out of any striker.

I was just happy to see a team wish some legs and energy for a change.

I hope it gives Erik some food for thought in who he decides to bring back into the team, although it must be said that Palace were atrocious.

I'd even go so far as to say Palace were keeping their powder dry for the weekend, there's no way they'll be as unambitious again.

Palace did us a solid tonight, all being well they'll bring the same level at the weekend as we rebuild our confidence

We clearly enjoyed ourselves, few nice goals, good minutes into the fringe and returning squad members.

Enjoyed Amrabat, Casemiro and Mount combinations

I don't think they are going to play their second string team at the weekend.

Sure it was a weekend Palace team, but I really love what I saw today. Who would have thought merely putting in some extra effort and making your self available for a pass would make such a huge difference. Night and day difference compared to that pretender casually jogging around and hiding, whilst constantly pointing at others to be passed to (anybody but himself) Rashford shouldn't be anywhere near the team next week after tonight's show from the young lads.

Having more mobility in the middle made all the difference, also allowed Casemiro to be the player he can be.

You can't have Erickson and Case on the pitch together. Younger ones can make up for the lack of legs of one, but not two. We looked much more solid with that more robust centre, plus some great performances from the younger lads to go with it.

Enjoyable game finally.
Amrabat was great and surely has to play next to Casemiro in the league.
Mount played better than he has been.
3 goals and a clean sheet, nice one.

When was the last time we had such a comfortable game?

Id like to see Mount Casemiro and Amrabat midfield with Bruno on the right.

Unfortunately away to miss the game but a fantastic result the biggest benefit above all else is the clean sheet.

Very good tonight even if Palace were awful, same again Saturday hopefully.

I thought the much derided (unfairly imo)Mount was good Arambat also, Casemiro was fantastic.
