Absolutely delighted. It had me worried/angry for a while, but so relieved and happy that we got there in the end. LVG's decision to put Young up front nearly ruined my mood but that's for another time.

Delighted that Lingard got the winner, what a story his season is. Very happy for all the young lads, the first of many hopefully. Nice to see it mean so much to Rooney and Carrick too. I hope that's not the end of Carrick, but it's a nice little finish if it is.

I was tearing up as the team walked up the steps to the trophy.

Its been too long since we've done that. I'd almost forgotten how it felt. The players fought so hard for each other, can't say a bad word for any of them nor LVG tonight. They're heroes.

This is going to keep me going for weeks, I reckon.

Scored tickets 3 hours before kickoff. God does it feel worth it. Pissed off at the fans booing LVG. I want him to move on but how the feck can you boo when we've just won the cup final? Twats.

Anyway, we bossed the game and won it with a worthy goal. I'm over the moon we've won our first post-Fergie trophy, and really pleased a great manager has gone out on a high. We've definitely had some lows with him but he's given us some big highs too (contrast with Moyes, David). Big respect to him.
