That was brilliant. Chelsea didn't have a sniff at all defensively, while we controlled the whole game and were dangerous at the other end. Could've had more even if Young knew how to shoot
Rashford with possibly his best game of his young career. Ran them ragged and a great finish. Lingard worked as hard as ever and linked really well. Fellaini's chest trapped everything. Pogba solid, though tried too many nutmegs in that first half. Center backs were brilliant. Valencia tank as always. Darmian did all that was needed. Young ran his socks off and did the armband justice. De Gea didn't have to be there even, no shots on target from Chelsea and not a single half chance even the whole game.

Lastly though... Herrera Goal and assist, and just shat all over hazard and their midfield. He's always been a big game player but he took it to another level today. So underrated.

Jose today showed why he's still the man for the job, with such a depleted and underwhelming squad he got the best out of them and we looked fantastic.
Big props to the entire team today, Rashford, Lingard and Pogba were brilliant all game and Ashley Young looked like a man possessed! Great from Herrera once again too. If only we could beat the small teams at home.
Great day for us though, a massive three points in the race for top four and we'll have high spirits for the Europa league home leg. Rashford to play up front again?

Maybe Young gets an 8.5 because his shooting was awful, but every player had a specific job, and they did it. Completely shut Chelsea down. Conceded 0 shots on target. What a win. Ok last 20 mins we were second best but we were by far the best team first half and first part of the second. Funnily enough when we took off Lingard for Carrick is when our standards dropped a little. Everyone was a 7/10 at least. Thought Rashford Bailly Herrera were our stand out players today 9/10. According to the stats Chelsea didnt have a SHOT ON TARGET!!! Perhaps its a sign of things to come. Lets hope so.

When I first saw the line-up I was very annoyed because I thought we would get trashed again - with Mou being willing to take it even at home. However, the team proved me wrong!

Very, very lucky with the first goal. Nevertheless everyone showed passion and was ready for it. Well done lads!

I must applaud United for dropping their best performance of the season by far against us. Mourinho outclassed Conte today. Title race back on properly now. Looks like Jose took hints from Pep and Poch, the only other managers Conte has truly struggled against this season. There is a running theme against teams that outplay and beat us - it usually happens when we face a high press, which is exactly what Jose implemented today for the first 60 minutes or so of the game. His game management was also very good today, bringing on the right subs.

Chelsea were screwed when Alonso and Courtois weren't playing. This is why I have said in other threads that the Chelsea squad is vastly overrated. We don't even have proper replacements for our wingbacks - especially Alonso - and we did not address this properly in January. Now it's come to bite us back in the ass. Victor Moses didn't have a good deputy either so it was almost like trying to fit in some squares in circle frames. Conte also reacted way too slow tactically. Jose masterclass indeed.

In a way I'm glad that hopefully United found their mojo back, because we need you guys to do us a favour against Spurs now.
