Why did they sign him as soon as Baros came in?
Just confirmed. Liverpool have option to buy him after loan.

Famous Red Jersey? United would never want him.

I don't know about that. GH is the opposite of Wenger. A very strict disciplinarian.

So is PSG's Fernandez... Anelka may be beyond turning from the dark side.

Well, Nic Anelka is only there on a loan, though Liverpool can sign him in June if they want, but Anelka will probably get fed up of Anfield by February.

who said anything about signing a 'striker'?
heskey will do wonders for our defence

Great bit of business that, he's definately a quality player.
Owen, Heskey, Baros and Anelka
Looking good.

Anelka - Volatile Child.
Michael Owen - Liverpool's only Quality Striker.
Heskey - Granted, Good Defender.
Jari Litmanen - Good but doesn't play.
World Class. I am sure defences are trembling in their boots.

Liverpool must be skint if they are in for loan players

A no risk signing for the dippers. If he bombs then they can send him back to PSG at the end of the year. If he works out (highly unlikely) then they can pay them a transfer fee.

Agreed. After all the joking I must admit this is a sound and shrewd investment by Houllier - it could break up team morale in a vital time for Liverpool though.
Why did PSG want to loan him out? Did he fall-out or did he just bomb out?

True. However, the English game suits him. But I think he's ridiculous to come back after all his complaints about the British media...

Yes. He has pace and he and Owen will frighten Defenders but the question is can they play together? I don't think they are compatible.
