He has an extremely inflated sense of his importance and level as a player. He has a phenomenal technical and physical abilities of course, but if you don't have professionalism and consistency that doesn't mean much. If you were to be a little harsh, you would say he hasn't really achieved anything in club football.
When it first became clear that he would be leaving us, I had mixed feelings about it, but I am more and more delighted for every story that comes out.
What fascinates me is what led the club to even offer him an increase? He was barely ever "fit" and when he was he was not exactly tearing the league apart or even playing at a consistent level. The arrival of Bruno was supposed to lift him and bring the best out of him apparently but all it did was expose him as Bruno actually tried and put in the performances and numbers we have all expected from Pogba.
He was coasting at the club, earning loads of cash, and he played whenever he wanted to. The fact that he released a documentary at the end of one of the club's worst seasons in recent history makes me wonder how "injured" he really was. He came out many times and spoke about Madrid and flirted with other clubs, but in the same breath posts on Instagram after a bad result saying the club and fans deserve better!? He did not and does not give a single crap about anyone else other than Paul Pogba, he can have all the talent and ability in the world but his egoistic behavior trumps all of that!
I was someone who used to back him, but in the last few months I have wanted him out of the club and I could not be happier that he is gone.
Go coast in the serie A or ligue 1 and pretend to be some sort fo GOAT midfielder that deserves better

One of the main things Pogba had going for him was the perception of him being a nice guy, model professional etc. He also had the shield of Raiola as his supporters could always claim the comments coming through the press were just his agent going rogue.
This documentary seems to be torpedoing all of that with all the greed, comparisons to Jesus, seduction metaphors. He just seems like a bit of a knob now, or at best - stupid.
Wouldn't surprise me, it's become increasingly apparent this guy while insanely talented doesn't really give a shit about football. I can't work out if he doesn't realise what a tragic waste of his talent it's been to be where he's at at 29, or he literally doesn't care because he still has the profile and the money - because the way he talks himself up does not seem to suggest he realises he's had a fairly mediocre career relative to his potential.

The reason I think it happens with some is because the club and fans blow so much smoke up their backside that they think they've made it, when really the hard work should just be starting ie becoming a first team player and then a mainstay in the first team.

I did(because his attitude on the pitch stinks) and then deleted, because I thought my larger point will go amiss, and this will turn into a debate about whether Rashford(MBE) does or does not have attitude problems.
He's one of the worst, for me. Obviously Ravel had his demons but he came from a different background and upbringing to Rashford. Whilst it's not an excuse, a lot of the bad stuff with him happened when he was still a child really. Rashford has got worse with maturity and age.

Yeah I don't buy it. I've heard stories too that point to his off the field character pretty much stacking up with his on field character. I pointed this out when I first started to notice his demeanour on the pitch last season, but nobody believed it. Now it is universally accepted that he has a bad attitude. From what I've heard he's an arrogant c*ck, and I can fully believe it given everything we've seen on and off the pitch this season, plus his ridiculous PR crap.

She showed Rahford and Lingard round during the teams Xmas visit. Said they were the rudest, most arrogant players she'd worked with. Unsurprisingly Mata was meant to be lovely and he'd stay way beyond his alloted hours talking to the kids and their families.
I did get a shirt signed by them both though.

I'm saying it now. Good cause or not, Rashford only got so involved in the school meal stuff because of the PR and clout he got. His ego since then has seemingly been out of control. Yet the club will continue to enable it and, at the same time, wonder why there are problems in the dressing room and a poor attitude spreading through the team. He's a shite role model for our youngsters and should be shown the door.

As others have already pointed out, the tax regime in Italy means he will cost Juventus a lot less than he was costing us. He seemed to think we should have dedicated even more of our wage bill to reward a player with a terrible injury record and an inconsistent performer when he was fit. He was wrong, obviously.
The move is less of a financial commitment from Juve. And we’ve seen how players that struggle with the intensity of the PL can succeed in Italy, so probably a risk worth taking for Juve. Definitely not a risk we should have taken based on his career at United so far. The fact he seems blissfully unaware of this speaks volumes about his capacity for self-reflection (and hence improvement) It’s why he’s a no better player at 29 than he was when we signed him.
