Pogba's social media post was a scheduled event - Neville and .Rossi take note!

Neville's making a right tit of himself whether it was intentional or not he's throwing his toys out over a fecking tweet, you're a grown ass man FFS

I think Pogba probably did it deliberately, but I don't mind him doing that. Jose doesn't deserve any respect with the way he's carried himself over the last 6 months.

Who ate the Mourinho acolytes? There was only 1 that I remember... CA1. Who else? Most of the caf has been Mourinho out for awhile.

Ramshock, Chief, Haram, SirAF

His insight ever has any weight?
Last season Neville called Arsenal fans 'idiots' when they were calling Wenger to be sacked now he completely changed the tone and praise Emery.

He sounds like someone who just loves masturbating to his voice

He’s a typical reactive footballing man where he has zero insight or predictive ability but where his strengths do lie is after the event. That’s why he made for good analysis post games using video footage but was a shit manager and is constantly found out when it comes to asking for what should be done next at any given club - he has such tunnel vision he can’t ever see the bigger picture.

Hopefully true hes being fined. Huge job for board and new manager to control this guys ego. Regardless of where you stand in pogba v mourinho his behaviour isnt fit for a united player, more importantly neither are his performances. Its not a coincidence hes always at the centre of these little storms

This really reeks of an agenda.

Neville " But,but,but,but,but.."
Hes a complete simpleton parading around like he knows something when he throws together a few graphs and stats on monday night football or whatever that show was called. Him along with mourinho and woodward are the three biggest cnuts i detest in football currently

People going on these random rethorics about Pogba being an issue to the next manager and all that unfounded nonsense, where do the lots of you get this idea that Pogba has ever been a troublemaker who has a precedent of falling out with his managers?

I mean I know some are just sheep regurgitating whatever narratives some agenda driven individuals push in the media, but some of you need to educate yourselves first before coming off as ignorant sheep.

On one hand you have a player who has a flawless disciplinary record with other managers he's worked with who make up a good sample of 3 and on the other hand you have a manager who's resume and history is filled with turmoil and fall out against his own players. One would think people would easily figure out what's what and who is the likely issue but seems like it's hard for some people to grasp it.

Quite amazing really.

I can see both sides. I get that he didnt like the manager, or didnt like the manager's tactics, and I also get that he is happy he is on gone. He is without doubt a talented boy. However I will never forget that performance he put in against Southampton. He completely disrespected the club and the fans on that day.

Jose's magic wand?

Anyways I don't understand few things. Fans can shit on players however they want to but players shouldn't say anything about fans, even mildest of criticism. Manager can shit on players in every press conference but players shouldn't say anything even after the manager is sacked? Players are not robots.

Yeah, huge job to control his ego. Board and new manager should call Conte, Allegri and Deschamps to ask them what they did with him as they never thought Pogba was a huge ego that can't be controlled, if anything few of them praised him for his professionalism and how he was a leader in dressing room.

From what I've seen, most of those having a fit about this whole thing are the same who were adamant Mourinho in crowd and veered all the blames away from him. Basically staunch Mourinho supporters(cultists).

Now they're just taking their frustration on Pogba. Having a chance to shit on Pogba in these trying rimes foe them is all they've got right now. It'll blow over and this will be forgotten.

Pogba is an extremelly skilled and talented player for him not to prove that lot wrong. He's been top class working for any other manager but Mourinho, an argument that could be extended to many other players. I for one I'm looking forward to seeing the real Pogba show up soon and it makes be giddy.

Just against Southampton? He's been found out against Tottenham many times being completely dominated in the middle, in the champions league he has been pretty average, in fa cup final he had been pretty average and many a times I can point out he was pretty average as well.

I know he is super talented, but I can also realize the fact that he is pretty average in midfield basics as well in terms of breaking up the opposition play, being at right place at right time positionally and not committing himself and being sharp enough in the duels for first and second balls. And loosing the ball cheaply trying to take on 3-4 players at a time. These basic things will be an issue for a new manager to deal with as well specially who wants the midfielders to be defensively solid and wants to control the midfield while being direct quick in his attacking style. Its not that you can always be in possession all the time specially against big clubs who want the ball as well.

He was very good for france with his passive control without the ball, but he's not exactly putting those performances here when the team does not have the ball.

Any manager who builds a philosophy or style of play will have to adapt to his strenghts and use cohesive style which can hide his weaknesses to maximum lengths with the team having the ball most of the time with possession style football. But now that mourinho is gone, I am curious to see how pogba uses his energy around the pitch off the ball. Weather he stays, controls and breaks up the play with tackles or weather he uses the energy to press opponents into losing the possession, he cant be half arsed about wanting to win the possession back and losing control of the midfield. This is the part where other top midfielders and playmakers have the edge over pogba and become the main man in the middle. Sooner pogba learns this lesson the better.

Same here, can't wait to see him play again and how he does. Hopefully Ole plays attacking football which suits all our players.

You mis understood me I think. Yes he has had plenty of other bad games for us, but against Southampton you could really see that he didnt try, didnt make an effort and couldnt be bothered. That was two fingers up not at Jose, but at the fans who had paid good money to travel there and two fingers up at Manchester United. It really is unforgivable for me that a professional footballer whom is paid very well can go out there and not try

could you provide instances that point towards Pogba's ego needing to be controlled? yes, his performances have not been great this season, but that's a trend for the whole team, and even so, had it not been for him and Martial orchestrating the come back vs Newcastle, Mourinho could have likely have been gone earlier.

People act as if he's never played well for us, when I vividly remember him consistently creating a bag of chances wasted by the rest of the team (Ibra especially).

I'm really beginning to dislike Gary Neville. Just say you're not sure and leave it alone.

I like how ex players at one moment has big problem with the current bunch doing some childish stuff on social media and at the other moment will proudly remember about their times when they'd get drunk on beers just a night before the match.

I can only think of one manager that’s had trouble with him and it’s the same manager who has fallen out with many players, including the likes of Hazard and Ronaldo! So i don’t think there is much evidence to back up your point.

“Back in our day we knew how to be unprofessional like real men!”

Pogba has never played in an attacking team, Allegri,Conte, Deschamps and Mourinho are all defensive coaches, he will get exposed more, as his languid style, lack of posistional awareness, and holding onto the ball will all still be present in is game as it has been thru out his career.

What Pogba still hasn't grasped being in the premier league for two years, is to move the ball quicker, hence the reason why he is the most disposed player.

Pogba is gonna need to really develop that side of his game, if he can, and is played alongside Fred and Herrera, he will be ok, Fred will contiinue to loose the ball, as he is still adjusting to the league, and hopefully by middle of Jan, he will be better accustomed.

In this case, that can't be thrown at Gary Neville...

How anyone can forget the, "Beer for me, beer for Sharpie, bottle of Champagne for Eric and a glass of Coca Cola for Gary and Phil" line :D

KdB was the most dispossessed player last season and Sanchez second, maybe they haven't grasped what it means to play in PL.

Sorry gents, if you see no faults with pogbas behaviour- which he alone controls- combined with some truly horrendous performances as bad as any ive ever seen from a player of his talent, then we have totally different view points. I expect way more from a united player who is not performing than mouthing off to press, an agent with no filter, and blatant disrespect of the fans. Keeping in mind he walked before- from under the best manager ever. But hey, ive heard people say that was fergusons fault- what does that guy know about developing youth.

If you can be bothered youll see i have massive hopes for pogbas ability. It is not an agenda to expect more than a circus and better performances over 2.5 years. If he hits a good level consistently and plays with effort and commitment ill be the first to praise him.

He get's us, la
New Zidane etc

Pogba isn't the most dispossessed player, in fact his stats per 90 are similar to Hazard, Barkley, Sterling or Salah.

Neville is becoming United's version of Souness now. He's been an idiot on TV for too long

- Club sack their failing manager looking for a new and fresh start.

- Fans and players alike hoping for a new and positive atmosphere.

- So called club legend goes on twitter and start fuelling some negative nonsense.

- Negativity back swirling around club Brough back by so called club legend.

Couldn't make it up.

Embarrassing moron Gary Neville. Seems like being an embarrassing failure as a manager wasn't enough for him, he also want to be a failure as a United fan. Do one Gary.

He's had issues with Deschamps and was fined a few times by Juventus for showing up late for training
Nothing like the feud with Mourinho but, there have been other occasions

I'd just like to add...

People on here, in this thread, saying Gary Neville is not a club legend, is a cnut, is a moron, is a disgrace...

By all means say he's a shit pundit and disagree with his opinions but, to label him all that? After he was part of a period and a major block of what gave us all so much joy and happiness and pleasure?

I'm sure there's a job going at Red Issue if any of you are interested
Fergie was right...

Wasn't talking about Gary particularly to be fair. Gary was proper professional.

Will hardly be fined as he clearly didn't do it

I wouldn't begrudge any player a social media post showing a smile after the departure of such an obnoxious jerk. That it was taken down shows more restraint than I'd ever care to show.

In that sense, the question of whether he meant it or not becomes the most irrelevant tangent imaginable, and an exercise in frivolity.

I'm with Neville on this one. Pogba crossed the line and must be fined.

If we get an offer of £100M+ then I would probably take it.

They're staff, managers only have some wiggle room because they're senior and communciating with the world is part of thier job.

This whole "i like a player so I'm going to allow his behaviour and rewrite the rules" shit needs to stop it's been going on since Rooney. Players should be model proffesionals, i can think of no other top club that allows their players to get out of line in the way some suggest is fine.

Mourinho’s gone lads. We no longer have to be divided. If Neville doesn’t want to be positive he can do one.

Let’s get some harmony back on the Cafe. I can’t wait to have a go at sideways passing and poor crosses again. Instead of viruses, clothing lines and muscle gains.

The whole "I like manager, so I will shit on player for everything" should be stopped.

So they are managers and communicating is part of their job, is shitting on players is also part of their job? Is shitting on club after embarrassing defeat, throwing every player under the bus is part of job description? Like I said, players are not robots. When someone is being cnut and created toxic environment, this is expected. I'm surprised we haven't seen even more leaks.
