Pogba's social media post was a scheduled event - Neville and .Rossi take note!

He's truly become a clown since becoming a pundit/shit manager.

"We always said of Gary that he woke up angry. His was an argumentative nature. He is a forthright guy. Where he sees error, sees flaws, he attacks them. His instinct was not to negotiate his way through an impasse, but strike hard with his opinions. There was no consensus with Gary. He was explosive. I would see a small issue escalate in his mind. But with me he knew where the limits of my patience were. I would say: ‘Gary, go and annoy someone else."

That's how SAF tackled Gary Neville maybe Pogba can do the same.

Seriously, why do some people think footballers don't handle their own social media? It's Instagram FFS, which is literally signed in from your phone. I am sure even C.Ronaldo has made posts himself. Just saying like.

Because they have professional PR folk that usually handle this.

I can't take Neville seriously anymore. He chats so much nonsense. That tweet doesn't help the club or us at all. I always feel he has an ulterior motive when he speaks now. Like he is making sure he keeps certain people on side.

The exchange above with Souness sums him up. Refuses to answer a simple yes or no questions. Looks weak and cowardly. Refuses to criticise a the manager. Like that is something to be proud of.

There was no need to get so upset over that tweet. You'd think someone with his experience would know about sponsors, scheduled tweets. Is he that out of touch with modern football?

Clubs encourage this everywhere. You don't see this in the NBA. Athletes make posts and use social media and they don't get this much abuse for it.

Neville needs to look at himself. Being made to look foolish by an Ex-Arsenal and Ex-Liverpool pros.

Even before Neville's tweet. Not as if the spotlight wasn't already on Pogba. No one in this team is playing well. Why do some act like he is the only out of form player. This team is collectively abysmal.

We need change from top to bottom. People act like Man Utd is just Pogba. We have a squad of over 20+ players underperforming.

It's the way GNev has been so consistently anti -sacking the whole time, then suddenly decides that he always knew that the deal extension was an error, and always knew that this was coming.
Despite losing his sh!T a couple of months ago when the leak that he was getting sacked came up.

Who hires his 'PR folk' it's Pogba's account, it's Pogba's staff, it was stupid to post.

You have to laugh really.

Some up themselves PR person reckons they've got a genius post - cocky looking pic and a "caption this".

Yeah, that'll send out a message.

Gets a call - "don't post anything mate, Jose's been sacked"

"Oh heck"

the abuse Pogba is getting is really not on. the fact that Gary Neville is revving up the top reds is even more disappointing

You really don't get what a scheduled post is, do you?
Yes, something on schedule is impossible to stop! It's a shame nobody told northern rail this. :D

To make it simple it was a commercial campaign for this outfit:

ian wright speaking some sense

Ian Wright is a laid back character you'd have a drink with.

Gary Neville is a know-it-all twat you'd slowly walk away from at a party.

Assume he still hasn't apologised for earlier?

Yeah, comparing SAF to Pogba, that sounds swell.

Always nice to see a club legend getting a ton of abuse.
It's a nice warm up for if solskjaer comes in and the results don't improve.
Suggesting Paul Pogba made a mistake is ludicrous, but calling a club legend a twat makes perfect sense.

Thats what happened when they then deleted it.
It obviously shouldn't have been posted in the first place, especially considering Pogba's current reputation amongst a lot of united fans.

Yeah I expect the board consulted pogba before they sacked mourinho and he knew in advance the timing of the sacking.

Yup. Few bad games and Ole will be called all names under the sun.

The club had confirmed the sacking on Twitter before the post was made.
Understandable, Pogba's social media PR men probably don't have Twitter.

Is anyone really surprised Gary Neville reacted emotionally? We are talking about Gary Neville. Doesn't anyone remember him as a player?

He's still a great pundit, but he's always been prone to reacting emotionally to things. It's just who he is.

Wait, professional football players in 2018 can be divas?! Next thing you know they’ll be paying managers millions to deal with big personalities and get the best out of them on the pitch.

And what was the time difference between the two posts? Also, if you are going to direct your outrage atleast do it properly. A similar post was made on twitter before being deleted.

Whoever doesn't agree with me is not an United player.

It's genuinely hilarious. Keane's a dick, Neville's a dick, Ince's a dick, all of them don't know shit but then we constantly have threads popping up on the forum who's a 'United player' and who has credentials to be a 'United manager'. It's like a mass schizophrenia for some.

Three players. Three particularly gobby men. It's actually bloody irrelevant what they did on the pitch. Great examples.

Less than an hour I believe.
There's no outrage from me, I know what pogba is.
It's a shame to see so many 'fans' openly abuse Neville though.

Why has this place got such a hard on for these throw away, sarcastic, third person, parody comments all of a sudden? Why can't people just put their point across like normal people and actually have a debate anymore? It's fecking weird.

Keane is a dick, so is Ince. Got a problem with that?

Slate wiped clean for me, but now he needs to show us what he's got, any stupid ego/power play crap goes on now then he's done.

Nope. No apology even. But I wouldn't expect anything different . Can't take him serious as objective thinker anymore after his pre Newcastle rant.

So what constitutes a 'Manchester United player' or a 'Manchester United manager'? Amount of dabs per second? Kids' choice voting on Caf on who actually is and who is not? And how what they did on a pitch is irrelevant again?
