Pogba's social media post was a scheduled event - Neville and .Rossi take note!

I hope he's next. This club will never ever be his top priority.

Im not. I think mourinhos actions were overstated and if they genuinely hurt him hes not cut out for united. He started the season as captain, scored (complete with attention seeking non celebration) and post match mourinho praised his making himself available and called him a monster. The season was off. And pogba went like a teenage girl crying to the media and a circus exploded again.

Well I won't try to change your opinion on anything, even though you're double standards are there for everyone to see, you're free to believe whatever you want. But keep in mind one thing, negativity only ever breeds more negativity.

Great point.

NBA Players are always posting banter, engaging with their teammates and rivals - and also their fans.

Only in the PL are athletes expected to act like boring old farts.

Very true, I've no problem with the "bantz" it's just that some feel Pogba values his highlights more than the teams. Example being that beautiful takedown against Southampton but instead of standing up and moving the ball he hangs around to bask in the applause that wasn't there only to have the ball taken from him by a strolling Southampton player. Easiest take of the season and he didn't even move a toe to get it back.
We will all love him again now that the leash is off but mark my words, pogba has dozens of performances in him like the one at Southampton which will always make me suspicious of his loyalty.
If he really wants to reach the pinnacle of club football now is his opportunity to lead this club back to where it was for the last 30 years, a head of fecking liverpool.

Pogba was pictured with Dybala yesterday in Paris for the adidas event so of course it was scheduled. Unless you're telling me he knew about the sacking beforehand...

Which is as it should be, although it's not going to be a quick fix for any players to turn their form around, they look like they have barely been coached.

But that aside, the amount of abusive posts here about Pogba for what was obviously a promotional message suggests a fair few just aren't going to allow any time.

Before it was clear is was an ad, fair enough, it looked bad. Now we know it was ad that was always planned to go out now with zero to do with the sacking, people should leave it alone. But when has the internet ever done what it should do?

Some people are just desperate to hate our best player. Feel sorry for them. Will be funny to see them backtrack soon.

I don’t hate him.
I just dont rate him.

Yes he is a talented young man and when things go well then he can be a game changer.

However, he has been increasingly caught in possession as teams close him down more quickly and if he is as good as he thinks he is then he is going to have to deal with this.

I don't disagree that he has been below par at times. But how much is down to the football we play? The Pogba that ran out in a red jersey this season is night and day compared to the Pogba on the pitch for France. It can't simply be he's regressed that much in a few months, can it?

And best player based on what? I fail to see how Pogba is our best player. Most talented? Maybe. But best? nah not even close.

Also for it to be a scheduled tweet, I would get it if it was scheduled for a certain time. But how specific was that time. Did Adidas say 'schedule this for 10.34' or whatever it was.
odd stuff.

Also Martial liking that 'br football' things wrong at United tweet as well.

Can I ask what all the outrage is about? No comments or hints or anything. Is it just his facial expression that people are taking as a message? What is the message?

The only thing I thought is that he actually has the same look as Mourinho. He looks like Mourinho in that picture. Do we think that is what he is doing? Physically mocking Mourinho for his miserable expressions, as to say: I won?

Sorry for asking, but It just isn't obvious to me what people actually think this means.

the fact that people actually thought it was directed at Mourinho just blows my mind. The picture is a new professional, promotional picture, people really think he went and book a photographer as soon as he heard the news?
And the fact that he tagged adidas in the comment should have cleared any doubt. He might not be the brightest guy around, but he's not stupid enough to include his main sponsor into some petty revenge post...

Wonder if you lot who are gunning for Pogba are prepared to do the same for Martial.

Look at the video he liked on twitter
If you go to his handle and click likes you can see he liked the video.

Personally, I think it is hilarious.

You don't tend to schedule for specific times like half past or on the hour. It's more often 8, 12, 24, 48 hours from when you set it up.

He’s comfortably our best player. Outfield that is. Most creative and most productive.

Pogba took it easy. The way he's been made out to be a villain I don't blame him.
So you are saying his criticism of Mourinho has been, dear I say it; Lazy? Talk about racial stereotyping. (Sorry for the terrible joke)

Look it was clearly a scheduled PR post, so we should move on from that particular criticism. What he does need to do now is perform and be the player we know he can be. He has no more excuses now, the manager he apparently couldn't play for is gone. His performances have been taking the piss for ages. Time to step up or follow him out the door. Right now, I wouldn't miss him.

That's an animated parody video. No problems with any of the players liking it.

Exactly but it is a video slagging off Jose and is no different to what Paul was accused of doing with his post.

I didn't care about either. Laughed at both tbh.

Thats a sad state we are in if thats the case.

And im not talking about what hes done at Juve or for France. For United, hes played like he hasnt given a shit until it suited him. For me, overall, his output has been terrible if you take away penalties (but fine, hes on penalties and it still has to be scored). But then if you take away him vs City away, what other big games has he turned up for?

Sure you can put it down to tactics for not getting the best out of him, but it doesnt excuse him from not being able to do the basics.
I reckon Martial / Rashford have done better than him last few years including this especially when it comes to bigger games.

Dont see martial liking it.

Nah, the root cause of our problems has been booted out. The good players will still come good.

If you think jose is the only problem this club has, your in for a shock.

Pogba specifically has shown very little to suggest in over 2 seasons that he can produce consistent top form for us. He's been a let down, like many others.

Jose really did convince a lot of people that Pogba is a virus.

Whilst I don't like the way things work nowadays, is Pogba really any worse than a typical modern player?

He's not individually responsible for the current position of the club, or Mourinho's current position. Unable players such as Young, Valencia, De Gea, Martial, Lingard, Mata, Fellaini etc, he's not been through the process of a manager being sacked at United. And this isn't the first time Mourinho has imploded in a 3rd season.

Fully grown adults using a promotional tweet to determine that Pogba needs to feck off, and is a virus is about as low as this place has sunk.

Today is a great day. And I was pro-Jose for over 2 years!

this will make Gary Neville cry. How there they treat the manager that way? Its not his fault that Mourinho failed at Valenc erm United

That is the point. He was good for France but not brilliant in the WC.

However, I have watched him on a number of occasions this season when pressing teams have clearly targetted him and deny him both time and space. He either then has to rush his pass or looses possession sometimes in dangerous areas.

World class players can always get caught in possession but increasingly they fight like mad to win it back.
Have you seen Pogba do this often enough ?

He's truly become a clown since becoming a pundit/shit manager.
He's as worse as Souness .
Like Evra said this is now an opportunity to move on and try and build something . A clean slate . Neville is a big child
