Pogba's says his future is at United and has many years on contract

Not hard to see there's a massive overlap between all the extremely anti Mourinho people and all the people who are spewing so many ridiculous excuses for Pogba's form and trash quotes as if his only problem is Mourinho. I'm sure you're all really enjoying this.

Truthfully we both know we aren’t enjoying it one bit  We all wish that as fans we could all be back on the same page, not in a state of constant civil war.

Sadly United need to keep him, he isn’t world class on the pitch but he is off the pitch.

Having Paul makes to many millions and even in attracting new players having him helps.

He is the diamond in the rusty crown.

Aye, but he plays like a cubic zirconia.

Fecking hell... the "Fergie wanted rid of Pogba" myth, on a United forum. :wenger:

Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes true. Saying “fergie wanted rid of him as well” feeds into the thought that the club should get rid of him, despite it being very far from the truth.

Tiresome shit. Whatever. As good as he can be, he's certainly yet to prove himself irreplaceable.

My honest opinion of Paul is he'll never be captain material. He'll absolutely flourish in a team like Barca where he has flair players around him and he can do his stuff.

Give him the captaincy at United and he's a lost rabbit. But I also think right now, especially given his dad loss, he is just looking for a father figure to help him which Fergie would have done. He is one of these players who needs a hug and not a kick.

I don't think the coach is right for him at United ATM and if we get Zidane in he might be able to get the best of Pog...or if we stick with Mourinho then get our current value worth for him at £150m or so and never speak of the pog again

Club should sell him IF he really doesn‘t want to be here.

Could try to buy a few young Players that should be more motivated to Play for us instead. Neves comes in my mind first when thinking about it.

I once thought all this was a ploy to get a wage increase but now I'm not so sure. If he want to leave, get a massive fee and let him go. No point in keeping an unhappy player but I can't see Woodward signing off on a transfer. Not with the money Pogba's name brings in.

Well, not really because I know you're lying and trying to score cheap points over the internet by winding me up.

Find it a bit sad tbh. Society these days is quite a thing to behold...
 c'mon, mate? It's just about a footballer you and I barely know, and the media who make money by creating drama.

In that short interview all he says that he will give everything for the club, has a contract with many years left, after that who knows.

Unless there's another part there is no mention of"in the near future".

Sounds like another excuse to have a go at United and our so-called fans lap it up.

Him and Jose have obviously had a falling out which happens day in day out at football clubs.
Should we have sold him to the highest bidder? Or are we going to be saddled with an unhappy player all season? Personally, I'd flirt him in Jan if the situation doesn't change, such a shame as I love the fact he came home.

Wow, many pages and people fell for this when media twisted his words.

He will open his Twitter feed to tons of abuse from our fans for no reason.
His comments were bog standard.

Unless he shoots thrice from outside the box and they all go in, he ain't doing anything in that Brighton game. He has to get in the position to shoot first btw.

Pogba had 3 shots against Spurs, one on target, three against Brighton as well, penalty goal and one with intent saved. I'd say Pogba played better against Brighton than against Spurs.

I don't think he is as good as Hazard and Coutinho. He looks ideal for United though.

I don't think Pogba leaving United would be a disaster for you. It wouldn't do as much damage to your side compared to Bale leaving Spurs or Suarez leaving.

One of Mourinho's biggest problems at United has been trying to get the best out of Pogba.

Key for us will be getting the replacement ahead of selling him, since the £200m+ fee we will get for him will get added to the United \ PL tax and make any target ridiculously expensive.

Might end up being like our deal with them for Coutinho if they do get Pogba. Think they paid us something like 110 million up front with the rest in add ons. So something like 170 mil for Pogba with 40m of that made up of add-ons?

Yep, will cost a ton. If there is not a thread already, I'd be interested to see one about the midfielders United should target.

Also, the next press conference will be a blast.....

I am personally incredibly bored of the Pogba saga now. Very bored. Would anyone be that bothered if he went? I'll drive him to barcelona myself at this rate. He has the potential to be a great player but lets face facts, hes not yet at least not consistently. Stick him in the reserves. Tired of it

I can imagine a bidding war between Barca, PSG and RM for Pogba, think it might push him above the £200m barrier.

You'd stick him in the reserves because someone deliberately mistranslated an interview.

Wonderful.

He is a good player but not that good. I'm not arsed if he stays or goes but if he does go I would hope we sell him for an inflated fee.

When you consider how long we have been mulling over what his best position is, how to get the best out of him etc even over two years after signing him, I suspect maybe Mourinho didn't even want him in the first place. Pogba is sponsored by Adidas so obviously was a massive signing commercially for us, but I cant help but think we have been trying to stick a square peg in a round hole ever since he came back. I think the romance of the return masked the fact that actually, he might not fit in that well with us/mourinho. I worry we signed him for signing hims sake, to appease our sponsors. Its clearly been very lucrative for them. I don't think this will end with Pogba staying with us, the sooner its resolved and hes shipped off, the better. Disruptive, and I am sick of it dominating all things United. No one man is bigger than this club

Is it better though? Even if he's going to leave in Jan or next summer, I'd still prefer he'd just say he's staying, or at least not drop unsubtle hints that he's leaving. Then maybe we could concentrate on the football until the transfer window instead of the constant Pogba sideshow that we'll get instead.
Nah. If he says he's staying and ends up leaving, the media and fans will literally kill him. They'd label him a mercenary, dishonest, money-grabber, hypocrite etc without actually knowing he's always wanted to leave or the reason he left. Pogba just can't win.

Oh poor pogba. The guy is on 300k a flipping week and constantly has a sulk on like hes hard done by. Over privileged, arrogant idiot. Can't even see hes nowhere near the finished article. Idiotic

Hope he goes. He’s a disgrace. And he’s coming across as an idiot with comments like ‘my attitude wasn’t right’ and then two weeks later he says ‘I’ll always give 100%’

Totally agree. I am at the point where I would rather hear hes going at the end of the season/jan than hear him and raiolas antics have got him a stupid new contract and a daft pay rise. Get gone.

I haven't mistranslated a thing. Pogba has hardly been subtle. Sick of his shit now. Me me me. zzzzzzzz

I didn't say you mistranslated it, the stupid prat who wrote the article did, deliberately. Let's get rid of our better players, let's even get rid of a World Cup winner.
Because you believe all the crap that's in the media.

Any fans going to Watford or Wolves? Would like banners and/or songs showing Pogba what we think of his disgusting attitude and his pizza gurgling fecker pulling the strings, always looking to undermine the club.

Paul Pogbaaaaa, stay in the spaaa
With a 2.4 inch penis
We all know what he need is
Bell-ends from behind
Mino on his mind

Ooh-la-la Pogba, whatever will be will be
Rot in the stands and leave for free
Ooh-la-la Pogba, your hair looks like pee

It's not like criticising his performances is going to make him take note.

No mate I want him gone because hes clearly not seeing the wood for the trees. He is nowhere near the finished article, thats a fact. He wasnt THAT good at the world cup either, where is all this hype coming from if we look at it honestly? Hes young, and has so much more improvement to come, yet I have never heard him say that or acknowledge it. I personally have definately gone off him and wouldn't mind if he and his fat agent pissed off asap. Luke shaw nearly lost his leg and had to battle anxieties and depression, and has got his head down and taken the flak from the boss and come back stronger. THAT is the sort of character we want at this club, not fragile, arrogant, overpaid divas.
