Pogba's house burgled during the game...

 if anyone thinks Pogba and his wife left their toddler children alone they are fecking barmy

It was poorly worded but also equally baffling if he was unaware how his kids were if people were at home. Surely they'd just say "nobody is harmed" or something

Club could buy some land and build 25-30 luxury houses, fence the area up and employ 24/7 security on-site, offer players to live there and be protected, or get their own place on their own dime.

Poor kids.

Its crazy to me that not every person with an annual salary above 7-8 million doesn’t hire some sort of security. Even the most low profile person should have security if they have wealth like that. It’s such a cheap price to pay for safety.

Fukking horrible.

Seriously people, setting up a security system isn't that hard.

fecking rough. And on his birthday, was it not?

Isn't it high time the club arranged private security for all the players?

Aren't they paid enough to arrange that for themselves?

This is happening way too often these days, might be a good idea for the club to arrange private security during the matches? Although I am not sure how cheap/expensive that is for providing it to everyone.

it’s not club owned but that’s what happens in Madrid. Atletico & Real players all stay in a gated community with security. Trippier was talking about it on a podcast the other week. He was neighbours with Simeone

Multimillionnaires aren't immune from doing daft things. Look at Zouma and the catgate
Dude just stop. If the kids were left alone unattended, the robbery wouldn't be the leading story but Pogba and his wife facing jail time for negligence would have been the story.

Use some common sense for Pete sakes. Obviously they didn't leave their babies alone while they went to Old Trafford. Come on now.

That's terrible, people like that should be ashamed of themselves.

In an unrelated topic I've got a cheap T.v going if anyone wants it?

But it all seriousness, I'm just glad no one was harmed and the children were safe, I know if I was a professional footballer I'd definitely have 24/7 security or atleast on match day

I never said they did it and it's a fact ffs. Just said it could be a possibility. People have been known to leave and forget their babies in their car, under the baking sun.
You all take what I said as certainty

Quality control
And in other news: the Manchester United trophy cabinet was burgled in the night.

Police are looking for a big red/white and black carpet.

Doesn't really work when our trophy cabinet is the biggest in English history does it?

Why the feck the club does not arrange for some security for feck sake. And I hope Paul and his family are okey, but man, why would you not hire some private security yourself, these incidents have become too often and dare I say predictable.

Huddersfield Town were the first to win the English League title three times in a row (in 1924, 1925 and 1926) so almost 100 without a top league title - just saying...

Yeah your team is as shit as your trophy cabinet joke. Just saying..

Apparently a Sky Sports pundit said the keys were left in the front door.

Even if they were people aren't going around these gated private residences trying door handles until they hit the jackpot. Somebody set out to rob him keys or no keys in the door.

Not really his employers responsibility to pay for private security when he’s not at work. Paul can afford upgrading his home security, he earns more than enough to look after his family.
Becoming more frequent, so players should be taking steps to keep their families safe. Thieving scum who’re robbing them know they have plenty of high end items inside their homes.

Does this happen often to players in other countries? It's becoming a real problem in the UK especially the NW.

Quite common in France (Paris and Marseille at least) too.

Just in case he had doubts signing a new contract this will help him decide for sure

We should, put bars on the windows for protection and have them locked in their rooms at night.
