SAF was so rarely wrong when it came to assessing players' traits and personalities...
Sorry can you justify that? With my posting history? Again if you’re going to say something like that at least back it up.Imagine if Bruno or some other player had been courting all of the same noise and acting like a total and utter fanny, twice at our club for good measure and then left the club after being offered a raise and then failed a doping test and was banned for 4 years? You’d actually probably implode in the orgasim - heart attack you’d have
We’d never ever ever ever hear the end of it anyway that’s for sure. You have made a total ass out of yourself over Pogba and you just can’t accept being called out on it.

Is this a euphemism? It's entirely possible that he was trying to accelerate his rehab and got caught, tale as old as time.
Yeah, I think similar. He add all the ability to grow into the role to be the fulcrum of the team but ultimately he just seemed to want to show off is incredible talent and try to show he could do everything rather than honing it to be the most effective version of himself he could.I think this is the fairest assessment.
I always thought he would have been a better player if he bothered to take the deeper role more seriously, and learnt how to dictate play for them. He had the long range passing and physical attributes, and he would find more space there, instead of struggling when pressed/tight areas. I think he just wanted to be where the goals were.
PEDbaPogba?
Pogback?
Pogbanned.

I did, to highlight he’s won pretty much everything there is to win in football.
How he did it is meaningless if he did it.
Exactly, and I think he could have been amazing at it, there are not many with that level of talent for that role.Yeah, I think similar. Not exactly a great advertisement for doping as it doesn't seem to have done much for him.
Or the other hand... how bad would he have been without the drugs?
I heard a journalist argue he started it to help with injuries. Obviously that's completely speculation.
Hopefully he made enough money in his career. I know he has but he strikes me as the type to not save or invest smart and live very extravagantly.
That's five years he could have banked it in Saudi or MLS. He just be pissed off.
Fergie built his teams around players of pure work rate and put team first before himself. Pogba was never going to fit that profile.Absent Raiola, Fergie might well have built a team around him. Pogba's head was turned by money.
He did an interview where he said that sometimes he didn't even want the money. Something about wanting people to "love me for me". It seemed really sad actually. I feel sorry for him and dont really get the hatred from some here.
And he was Jose’s signing
I think its well established that Jose wanted Kante but Chelsea were onto him first. And he was Jose’s signing
Having to go for a 2nd / 3rd choice player is normal.I think its well established that Jose wanted Kante but Chelsea were onto him first.

What? Ferdinand got a far harsher 10 month ban in his prime for missing a drug test. He was not a convicted drug cheat like Mutu or Pogba. This is ridiculous! No player has ever got 4 years ban, are they taking the piss? Mutu, Edgar Davis, Ferdinand etc never got 4 years. This is absolutely nonsense. I sense Juventus having a hand in it to get out of the contract.
Because the law is name anti-doping law. Same as Anti-trafficking or Anti-laundering.Why is called an anti doping offense instead of doping offense?
Thread title needs changingWhy is called an anti doping offense instead of doping offense?
Dude you realize how not smart is it to buy a player that shines as box-to-box left mid in a 3man midfield for a record breaking fee of 110 or something millions and wanting him to be the deeper link in a 2man midfield and then complaining how you didn't get a return of what you paid?I think this is the fairest assessment.

He was a club signing for the merchandise and advertising profits. And he was Jose’s signing
Well he was moved around the pitch because he had weaknesses in every midfield role, so whatever criticism you say about him playing in a deeper role a criticism can be said about him playing b2b.Dude you realize how not smart is it to buy a player that shines as box-to-box left mid in a 3man midfield for a record breaking fee of 110 or something millions and wanting him to be the deeper link in a 2man midfield and then complaining how you didn't get a return of what you paid?
It's like buying Messi for 300m and having him play as a central defender. Complaining how he doesn't score as much as he did before joining United...
