Why would anyone want to keep him? He’s clearly got some talent that means he’s alright playing in a decent team but he’s a spineless clown who can’t get the basics right half the time. Generally he’s rubbish. Get rid.
If they're hoping to have Hazard and Pogba as their two centrepieces of the rebuild, you can pretty much guarantee it tbh.If they can’t afford him they won’t get him. It’s that simple. I’m sure they held us to ransom over friggin b tec Morata. Good luck to them this summer. Not our fault they ain’t got the money like they use to. It wasn’t coincidence Zidane walked out of a re build and I will call it now. This new project of theirs is going to fail.
I wouldn't be against him leaving but we can't bend over to Real Madrid once again. If they want him we should set the price not them and I believe 160 is a fair price if that doesn't include the fee that fat rat wants to get for the transfer. Why would anyone want to keep him? Oh come on!What do you mean wish for?
He wants to leave, what do you want the club to do? Yes be careful what you wish for because if he doesn’t get his way then he can be poisonous in that dressing room next season.
Even worse that they are swinging their dicks briefing everyone that they do have the money. If they want to act like Billy Big Bollocks then we should make them pay through the nose to prove it.If they can’t afford him they won’t get him. It’s that simple. feckin hell.
Bite their hand off if they offer anything above 100 mill.
And Pogba had a relatively good season, we should rinse them.
As much as I like Paul, he has to leave for this team to fully rebuild. Win for both sides, ples give us extra cash to buy the right players.
Why is this thread even necessary. The guy does not want to be hear and his performances over the last few months have reflected this. Just let him go (at a good price) and replace him with someone who dreams of playing for Manchester United and is willing to put in a shift for the shirt.
Get the money for him, the rats want off the ship. Honestly don't care who goes, De Gea will be sad but good luck to yous. We need players who want to be here.
I'd rather try to get players that want to come to United and archive something than keep players who clearly don't care about United winning anything.Mata, Jones, smalling, Jones, young, lingard. These are the players that dream to play for us and want to be here.
Pogba and DDG want out.
One group is average, the other have been best in their position (DDG) and won a world cup (Pogba). Players who want to achieve something are unlikely to sign for us. We can't afford to lose the few world class players we have. Ole has to find a way to convince them to say.

Right. Gylfi isn't lazy like Pogba when defending. You'll always get the bare minimum of 100% from him.Flop. He's an expensive Sigurdsson who lacks consistency but has moments of class.
He's a mid 2000s player and despite his profile just doesn't fit into modern top sides styles of play.

Which world class would player would come to a team struggling to get into the CL and has a rookie manager that presided over the worst run in the club's history. The optics of the club look bad and if we lose 2 of our only world class players the situation looks even worse for any new signings.I'd rather try to get players that want to come to United and archive something than keep players who clearly don't care about United winning anything.
They have a manager and coaching staff known for improving players. United haven't improved a player for the last 6 years. The coaching staff we have is the same as under Mourinho. I think the situation is very different for the two clubs. We need ready made world class players as we don't have the structure in place to improve players. We can get good players that want to be here and achieve things. Maybe we should just stop looking at big names and start searching for good players with good potential. Liverpool attacking trio weren't big names when signed. They were just good players.

I am not sure the players you mentioned actually dream of playing for us (bar Mata). Look at their running stats.....lazy as feck the lot of them.Mata, Jones, smalling, Jones, young, lingard. These are the players that dream to play for us and want to be here.

£90m I believe they wanted us to buy Morata for. That's a nice conversation starter
Yeah let's keep trying to convince people that don't want to be here, do you not wonder where the inconsistency comes from. The lack of effort, desire and horrible mentality of this team. It starts with players going in the same direction in that dressing room. I never said players like the chuckle brothers, Mata, and Young are the answer. There is a major clear out needed, that's for players not good enough and ones not up for it. Why would you build a team around players who don't want to be here, it makes no sense. Maybe we need to find a different profile of player coming in. I don't doubt the quality of Pogba but his his commitment isn't there. We need leaders to take this club forward under Ole. That goes for Herrera, Lukaku, Dave or whoever. We have reached a new horrible low as a side, we need to get the toxic players out and get players fighting for each other again. We need quality, not necessarily big names and horrible egos. Begging players that don't give a feck about United, time to wake up in here.Mata, Jones, smalling, Jones, young, lingard. These are the players that dream to play for us and want to be here.

A team with half mediocre in it will never push in the same direction. And Pogba should be sold because we won't get them all out for another 3 years- A good fee can be collected to buy 3 decent mids that will fill the void. The last regime had it's chance to recruit some good players and ship off some of these deadwoods but failed.Yeah let's keep trying to convince people that don't want to be here, do you not wonder where the inconsistency comes from. We shouldn't keep substandard players. I said we need a clear out, just not players that don't want to be here but ones that aren't good enough. You can buy smart with the right scouting, look at Liverpool's front three. A Southampton player, Hoffenheim and Roma player who failed at Chelsea. Look how well they play for there team, that's a quick example to address why we don't need individuals anymore. We need better players for sure but it's a team game. We can't rely on an individual showing up now and again. There is a fear with losing certain players now within fans. If anybody wants to come to Man United just to play with Pogba there is a problem. We have lost brilliant players in the past, I don't fear losing anyone now after what I seen this season. I'm not digging out Paul, there are others.A team with half mediocre in it will never push in the same direction.

This. People are so quick to let Pogba go, but we're more likely to get a downgrade than an upgrade on him, and this could develop into a pattern in this dreadful era. Hazard has been flirting with Real for years now, but Chelsea have managed to hold on to him. Even if they sell this summer they've got the most out of him since his move.
City have held on to players like Kompany, Yaya Toure, Aguero and D.Silva for longer than most fans thought they would for instance. 'Its a matter of time before Real or Barce come calling' they would always say. They are saying the same about Salah and Mane over at Liverpool but all indications are they are staying put. We should be replacing the mediocre players with better ones, not selling our best if we can avoid it. There seems to be resignation at the club over Pogba. If he wants to leave no one can stop him but he shouldn't be allowed to leave without a fight. I just hope Ole tests his skills in trying to convince Pogba that he's at the right club and that his project is one Pogba doesn't want to miss out on.
Jones isn't lazy. He's just a dumb-dumb. Or in the Trump vernacular - he's a low IQ player. Pogba, on the other hand, is a low energy guy as well as being sulker. I'd keep Mata. He's useful off the bench and he isn't an idiot. He's a good professional. Young is past his prime and I don't think that he is lazy but he's on in years and should never have been in the position of being the #1 RB.I am not sure the players you mentioned actually dream of playing for us (bar Mata). Look at their running stats.....lazy as feck the lot of them.
I agree he's an outstanding player, but he's not one that has an obvious fit in any of the tactical setups employed by the big teams, other than being the spare man in a 4-3-3. He's not got the cutting edge or consistent influence to be a 10. He's non-existent off the ball as a 6 or being a part of a double pivot, and he hasn't got the workrate to be the 8. He's an attacking midfielder, but the consistency in application and performance just isn't there to warrant building the team around him.
I wish him well at Madrid, but if he turns up with the same lackadaisical demeanour and attitude there, he won't last long.
I can't believe people are saying he's worth £150 million plus!! If we make our money back I'd be absolutely delighted...have people not been watching him these past three years? He's a lazy, temperamental clown that doesn't give a feck about United; why on Earth anyone wants him to stay is beyond me!
I do not get the sentiment on here the "stick him in a world class team and he will be world class", how is this guy any different to Di Maria? all the talent but he either only applies it when he can be bothered or when he is surrounded by players who make up for his shortcomings, well it makes me sick TBH he aint world class, world class makes the team not the other way around..... based on the last 6 weeks if Pogba is world class, McT is fekkin universe class.... oh no my bad he could just be bothered to put some effort in.
Lets think about the top drawer players we have had over the last 20 years, I cannot think of one barring Di Maria who would not have propelled this team forward, improved them by degrees unlike Pogba who has been having the opposite effect.
As far as I am concerned Pogba has already stiffed us once when he was a kid, not the kind of player that will still put in a shift for us if he is not sold.... hell he could not even be arsed to put in a shift the last few months, if there is a good chance to make our money back on him and then some then lets get shot, I am sure he will be amazing at Madrid in a league where he will have time and space most games to fanny around, but you know what all that will do is prove what a feckless waste of space he has been the last 3 months and for periods before.
Would happily take cash plus a player, good luck at Real you will need it.
Oh and BTW if I was taking all of Utds penalties I would probably have more goals than he has #featheryourstatsmuch
