He's not going. Real haven't been relevant in the transfer market since 2014 and with the wages we can offer we'd blow them out the water.

The key thing is to make sure that we bring in proper quality this summer and ensure that Pogba is not the only player we rely on.

Madrid's 'warchest' this summer reminds me of Sanchez's wage. It grows every week.

If Eriksen does end up going to Madrid this summer I don't see Pogba ending up in Madrid and vica versa.

Mane is an incredible player and in some ways is more of a player they need than Hazard .

Mane isn't a game changer, nor is he capable of winning a game on his own. He's good for a goal but he's nowhere near the same level as Hazard

I have seen Mane change games many times. He's one of the fastest improving players I have seen in a long time.

Have worked with people from AS in the past and they're extremely well-connected I think. I believe one of their journos worked in the RM press department.

I'm sure they are very well-connected, but not with the directors. Both sides are very critical with each other.

Hes one of the best talents in the world, why wouldn't he want to go to one of the best teams in the world, he came here. Ultimately he's employed by a company and like many of us on here, we might want a move for more money and dare I say it, a better company. Let's remember we had a better team than this one in the past and we still sold them some of the best players to wear a Utd shirt in Becks, RVN and CR7. We were very close to losing DDG too.

The only team in this country that can fight off Real or Barca if they come calling for their best players is City. Everyone else has a price, just Real can't be creative in how the spend other people's money anymore.

He won’t move this summer. I could see him pushing for a move next year though if yet another manager doesn’t work out for us and he sees no sign of us climbing out of this rut long term.

Real have no chance of landing him this summer unless they table some crazy bid in the region of £200M.

The overrating of Real Madrid in every single thread of this forum is ridiculous, it's incredible how complexed people are with these guys. We talk about a team that won 2 league trophies in 10 years or so, many of them lost even before December. For all their good performances in Europe, there have been a lot of poor to terrible ones with big trucks of luck, awful refereeing (always to their favour, out of casuality) and Ronaldo saving them from misery time and time again. Now there's VAR and the match winner has gone we've seen what they really are.

In their squad they have Carvajal, who's always injured and hasn't been close to his peak for a long time now. Marcelo and Kroos are a pair of lazy mugs who are not bothered to run or defend. Their pressing consists in jogging around and doing gestures with their hands. Isco who many people praise as some kind of superstar can't get a regular starting place under any manager. He slows the game in excess, takes too many touches and doesn't fit in any position. His chubby ass says it all about how professional he is. Recently the club took disciplinary action against him after insulting the last coach. Excellent stuff there.

Asensio is someone who has zero presence during games, and after a pair of beauty goals two years ago hasn't done nothing relevant. Lucas Vazquez is a workhorse that can't past dribble his grandpa. Benzema, their fix number 9 is far from being a killer, and the main star after Ronaldo (Bale) plays once in a month and not very well lately. Who else is there? Casemiro? Or that Vinicius guy who can't score to save his life?

Real Madrid is mainly Ramos and Modric sustaining everything and they are 33. They've been losing solid stablished players for years and replaced them with average youngsters or the likes of Mariano and Brahim who are watching games from the stands. A fairly mediocre bunch with an ageing core and a happy stomach. Now it's that time of the year when they're signing Neymar, Pogba, Mbappe, just to end up in August with a pair of teenagers, Rabiot on a free, Icardi and his noisy wife.

If Pogba really wants to go there which I don't believe for a second, then he's more stupid than I ever thought. I think he's just sending messages to put some pressure, both to get a big fat contract and also to ensure we build a competitive team. He's going nowhere this summer so we've got time to show the guy that this is the place to be. Then, if he likes the sunny weather or a softer, more technical league there's nothing we can do, so we shake hands and move on. But honestly I'm tired of reading almost every day how shit we are while Real is all glory and magnificence. Neither is true.

PS. I've just seen the cover of Marca, and they say down in the corner "Manchester United need to sell (for money reasons)".

Spot the feck on

I can believe that Pogba might push for a move there, but I don't see this as a priority for madrid considering the fee and the wages involved. Pogba doesn't strike me as the answer to their current problems.

In short, now that VAR is here, the allure of Real Madrid is gone and players would be stupid to miss the opportunity to fight for top 4 with us instead

Ronaldo was desperate to join them even when they were a worse team than us and a mess in Europe. It's not that anyone would blame Pogba for leaving, he should just keep his mouth shut about it and not put the club in a difficult position.

I'm conscient of our current position and limitations, but since Ole came we're in tittle winning form, even ahead Liverpool with one game less than them.

Such a challenge to sustain it in the long term of course, but maybe we're not that far with the right management and some accurate transfers this summer. By the moment we are in the 1/4 of CL while they're watching us by TV, that's the only truth.

I really think Real is ending a chapter and they need to create something again, which will demand vast sums of money and time considering also their transfer policy about signing potential more than stablished quality. Something that still remains with the signings of Rodrigo (18) and Militao (21). The current market is hard with highly inflated prices, and clubs in general are stronger to retain players by offering big contracts, so I question their margins to sign half of Europe this summer and the next one like some papers pretend.

Of course we need to be realistic and know where we are, but I'm sick and tired with that loser mentality about the grass being greener everywhere else. As I said before if Pogba or whoever wants to go to Real for a very specific reason (a dream of childhood, the type of league, Zidane being there or whatever) then there's nothing we can do. In that case we shake hands and move on. What I'm tired of are these dramatic posts about how terrible we are while praising that filthy mob. I would expect this in other places but not here and everyday.

Hell be away if they offer a world record fee.

Pogba and Raiola have no allegiance. I don't see Pogba sticking around. Pretty sure when Raiola offered Pogba to City and if Pep wanted him, he would have left. No doubt Pogba is a great player and would love for him to stay but I'm not sure if he will.

Marca really are disgraceful, they love running their mouths don’t they. That’s what 3 pogba front pages in the last 2 weeks?

No doubt zidane is in pogbas ear flirting with him non stop.

We should start bidding for their players in retaliation, we can’t keep putting up with this.

Let's see if the bald twat is still at Real by the time we let Pogba go there. No Ronaldo to carry his ass to timely CL wins.

Minus this I still believe Pogba will be here for next season, primarily because I feel Madrid can do without him for this period and they have greater concerns in their 11.
Next season though is where I think they'll make their move with Kroos and Modric slowly being outed from the first team, with the former likely sold.

At the moment I feel Madrid are putting in the groundworks for a Pogba move in 2020.This praise from Zidane, and over time they'll be more from certain members connected to Madrid, is all about setting the wheels in motion.
We've seen this with their move for Ronaldo, where Madrid were signalling him out in the summer of 07.Thankfully for us Ronaldo stayed for 2 more campaigns.I cant seem Pogba staying for that duration after this summer.

Why should we? Their players are shit anyway and only live on their former glory. Real can put on these dirty stunts all they want because they want players from us, not vice versa.

Vasquez, Ascensio, Isco...are not adequate enough to lace the boots for our young talents Martial, Rashford, Sancho. Their midfield consists of Kroos (Bastian Schweinsteiger mark II), Modric (33 years old) and Casemiro (What has he been up to these days?). Pogba alone eats them for breakfast. Marcelo can put on glorious runs but I doubt he can even pass Luke Shaw (The one who put Mbappe in his pocket). Carvajal is injury-prone and I wouldn't swap him for Dalot's potential. Goalkeeper: De Gea vs Courtois. Enough said! Only their centre-backs are arguably better than us.

Real Madrid have been lucky this season that they were eliminated by Ajax and lots of people would dismiss it as a one-off. We didn't have the chance to truly brutalize them on the field to avenge for the 2013 red card injustice and expose them for the fraud we know they are. Pogba would also have any idea of Madrid being the supreme destination squashed completely after he himself dismantles Madrid on the field. Same case for De Gea...

I'd sell him at 30 and recoup the money we spent, if he doesn't improve his control aslect of the game. Real Madrid won't have the cash to buy him in prime.

Don't think so. He's not going anywhere at least 4 years.

But I thought Paul can't defend and has no positional awareness..

Overrated, inconsistant bla bla bla but our only player that the other big clubs rate...while PSG are making strategies to stop Pogba, Real Madrid and Juventus are fighting to sign him.

Funny how Pogba is underrated here.

I like your attitude sir.

I hope it doesn't happen but I can see him going to another level if he spended his peak years there. He could only get better under the tutelage and guidance of zidane. Especially if they recruited another galactico attacker like hazard or mbappe.

180 million and he is yours. Pogba is a world class player for sure but is also just as likely to cause turmoil within the squad. With Madrid bending over for him he is very likely to play for himself instead of the shirt. I emphasize the word likely though.
I want him to stay and help us build that solid core again but we could buy three 1st team world class players with the money required to buy him.
The only United player I've ever disliked was Tom Cleverley, everyone else I'm behind 100% but Pogba feels a bit different to me. The 2nd half against city and the first few games under Ole were magnificent versus that Southampton performance or his childish penalty run. He is a player that will divide opinion and depending on the week all of us will end up swapping sides at some point. For these reasons I would prefer Ole's first couple of years not be dominated by the Paul Pogba show so if it's his wish to go there United should accept but only for Neymar/Mbappe money, all upfront.
But like all supporters I will be doing a Pogba dance when he is taking his baby steps for a penalty against Watford to complete the 1st hatrick of a United player since AIG were on the shirt. C'mon United, Go fecking Get Em Paul.

Just a glimpse of it. Some of them are from champions league knock out vs sevilla in dying stages.

I don't care.
Zidane said Paul can attack AND defend ;)
If he's required to play in CM and be more disicpline like the world cup he can do. If he's asked to play number 10 he'll do it also.

any player who is not honored to represent our team and think representing the spanish government club is the better dream, should part with us. We do not want any players who is not committed to our club 100%. If he knocks on Ole's door in the summer for a move, I would tell him sure my son, Tell Zidane to bring 180 m and you are good to go.

Funny how half of the clips are against Sevilla. If I'm not wrong before the game Mourinho threw Pogba under the bus and benched him for McTominay...

I can make the same video for every player in the world without choosing moments where the players are at their lowest point after being bullied by their managers...

But a minority of them are scrutinised like him.

It must be hard to hate a player like Pogba. The guy just won the world cup and scored in the final a few months ago. In Italy he won everything multiple times and now he's lauded by his club manager ( Ole ) his NT manager ( Deschamps ) and even the manager of the biggest club in the World ( Zidane ) and his formers managers ( Allegri and Conte ).

He's also wanted by the biggest clubs in the world but Ed is willing to sell all the CAF favorites to keep him here.

The life of a Pogba's hater must be hard especially if you are a Manchester United fans :p

He is our only player that is globally recognisable (star quality).

He is going nowhere this season. I expect him to sign the largest contract in PL history.

That said, in a year or two if we are still fighting for top 4 (likely) then he should leave frankly. He is well above his team mates.

The best that could come from this is that Pogba leverages this and says to Woody and the owners... If you don't recruit me some team mates that are on my level, I am off.

Like Rooney did when he complained about our lack of investment.
