Pochettino | Agrees to be US National Team Coach

He's doing a poor job, the only excuse you could give him is this is his first season with an unsettled young squad and the team finished midtable last season, not sure what eth excuse is for only being one place above him though
They still have a higher goal difference to us and somehow scored more even considering their incredibly shit striking options. If you think he’s doing a poor job, you’ll have no excuse for Ten Hag.

It’s 5 league places now and it’s looking like there’s a massive excuse for ETH. 7 goals in past 2 games and looking like a much better side, just happened to coincide with him having 3 of his most important players back available who’ve been missing all season.

He would have been an absolute disaster for us if it was him instead of ten Hag. He should be giving half his salary to Kane because he’s responsible for his entire career.

Surely in huge trouble now, he will be lucky to last long g. It's tricky to manage a side built of about 100 20 year olds and some 2nd rate older players but their results are atrocious.

Chelsea are done as a serious club for the foreseeable future. Long way back now

I genuinely - and resident Chelsea fans please correct me if I’m wrong - have seen feck all pressure on him from the press regarding his future.

Despite his Chelsea side getting twatted week in week out.

Did he have him on loan at Southampton?

Chelsea are better than a 4-2 loss to Wolves but can anyone genuinely tell me what this squad is? Is it top 6 or a lot of promising players that would usually end up as a Reddit where are they now? Post in 10 years instead of being grouped together for 1b?
This could honestly be a 10 or lower side and these are the results that 10 or lower go through each season

He’s a dead man walking. I find it utterly bemusing, how he gets such a free pass in the media (and from many football fans even) when he has this Chelsea side in midtable obscurity.

Compare this to the level of criticism ten Hag receives and it’s even more baffling. United have been poor this season so criticism is warranted but Chelsea - and by extension, Poch - absolutely merit more.

Suppose it just emphasises the gulf in size and expectation between the clubs and how many rivals fans revel in United being a ‘banter club’ over Chelsea.

If you had signed a reliable out and out centre forward then you'd be able to play Palmer in the free role. Instead you spent a load of money stockpiling attacking midfielders and getting Nicolas Jackson on the cheap. From the outside looking in, the transfer strangely seemed nonsensical before a ball had been kicked this season.

Nkunku was always meant to be the guy but he injured his knee on one of the 2 worst pitches in the US in preseason. Ah well

No chance Poch comes back next season, but there’s no point in sacking him right now.

Isn't McTominay your leading goalscorer in the Premier League?

It never fails to amaze me that a player such as McTominay who gives everything he has, gets constant stick from the 'so called Man Utd faithful".

You mean some internet fans?

You must be new to this football forum lark

They've got Jackson as well actually
I mentioned Jackson in my original post - I wouldn't describe him as a 'reliable out and out centre forward' as he's raw and unreliable. Surely some of the money spent on Mudryk, Madueke and Lavia could've been spent on a reliable centre forward? They've shot themselves in the foot with their transfer strategy.

Broja is terrible is why and will never be good enough for a top side. The more minutes he got at Chelsea this year the lower his valuation going forward
People say the same about McTominay et al but you have to use what you have if that's literally what you have. There's also Jackson as well.
