Wtf is Zombie Army. Already played days gone on release.

Taken at face value a new AA game and a first party AAA game is pretty damn good. Less so if you've a ps5 as Days Gone is already free.

Yeah, that's where I'm coming from. Obviously these things are often subjective, but I'm not much of a fan of the Oddworld games either. I'll give this one a look though.

Same tbf but if you have a PS4 it’s a cracking month to be fair.

Soulstorm? The brand new game that Sony has been promoting at events? That looks awesome

I don't get the negativity. Soulstorm alone makes this an exciting month imo and Days Gone is a great game for non-PS5 players

As I was saying in another post, it's obviously very subjective. Days Gone is already available for PS5 owners, and I've never been a fan of the Oddworld games. So just left with Zombie Army. Which, to be fair, I've never played so that could be great as far as I know.

Correct. Released day one on PS+.

ZA4 was released last year, and Days Gone in 2019 so all fairly new/brand new games in Oddworld's case.

Variety is lacking a bit, but there have been some months where they go all-in on certain genres/themes that aren't to everyone's tastes.

Days Gone should be fun. Never played it after it didn't get a great reception but I've seen a lot of people say it's understated.

I really wish I'd waited to play Days Gone now. Enjoyable game but it was a stuttering mess on my standard PS4.

Tried ABZU. Lovely music, but it's like Journey - a bit pointless. I don't think I'll get through such a shallow (lol) experience.

How good is Days Gone?
It’s pretty good. I played for 20 hours put it down and then picked it back up on my PS5. The second half of the game and story is really good and the gameplay is fun throughout. I managed to platinum it which says it held my attention plenty, I can’t always say that these days.

Is there any trucking games planned for PlayStation 5? Asking for a friend.

Apparently now it applies to them, reviews don’t matter. 6.5/10 for Days Gone, but they can’t wait and it’s ‘understated’

Problem with days gone , is it's just another feckin zombie game. I got sick of the whole zombie thing after 273838 zombie games were released. I bought it, played a few hours and put it on the back burner. Still never got around to it though.

Yeah zombies don’t do much for me. Although an open world survival game might be the best thing for it

It’s actually a decent game though. I don’t platinum many and managed to on that one all be it after putting it down for a year. I reckon 7/10 is fair but it’s a good 7 if that makes sense haha.

Anyone tried Soulstorm yet? Is it any good if so?
As side scrollers go it’s quite good, it’s not too easy or too hard. I would recommend it if you have played oddworld before and liked it, but if you didn’t enjoy it then I wouldn’t recommend it.

Thanks, never played one of these before. I'm quite diverse in my gaming tastes so I'll give it a try. Only games I after clear of are those with 90% cut scenes or dialogue with little or no action

Nothing confirmed at the moment.

A logo for ‘PlayStation Plus Video Pass’ was published on Sony’s official website today, along with the following description on its Polish website (now removed):

A new benefit available for a limited time on PlayStation Plus… PS Plus Video Pass is a trial service active 22.04.21 – 22.04.22. The subscription benefit is available to PS Plus users in Poland

Makes it sound like a local service as opposed to a global one, but time will tell.

Not a great month again, IMO. I'll check out Wreckfest and see how that is. But disappointing really.

Wreckfest is fun. Don’t care about Stranded Deep, but I might check out Battlefield.
