Are there any great co op games out that don't revolve around violence or button bashing?

Played through It Takes Two and would like that level of immersion and creativity if possible.

Sackboy and Unravelled 2 have been earmarked, but is there anything better?
Sack boy is a great pick for coop.

But it takes two has fighting and shooting
It has bits, yeah, but not the main theme or overly repetitively.

Got Overcooked, but that's more like a party game. Looking for progressive stuff we can play through.

Thought the market would be flooded with content like It Takes Two by now, tbh. Seems like it's still very much one of a kind.

Wanted to play that prison break co op game, but she's having none of it.

Could look at Stardew Valley, Astroneer or Human Fall Flat maybe. But none of those are really story driven. Also Portal 2 if you like puzzles.

In terms of story driven coop there's virtually nothing other than It Takes Two and A Way Out.
Cheers for the options. Going to run them by her.
Baldurs gate 3 is a story driven coop game
You know… this might be a goer! We played 2 through, so this is worth suggesting!
Admirable if you’ve a partner as progressive as that! She cannot stand the real thing let alone being subjected to it in a video game!

3 years into the ps5s life cycle. How are people feeling about the exclusives so far this gen? After all they are the main selling point of a PS5 over the more powerful series X.

I would say it's been decent but a little lacking overall especially when a few of the big hitters like god of war and horizon are cross gen

Anyone know why sometimes it won’t auto update games? Particularly ones I’ve not played for a while. When I want to play it suddenly it needs a two hour update. I have the setting on to do it automatically.

Same here - feel like this is exactly why you choose that setting, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Anyone have an issue where if you eject a disc from the home screen via the DualSense Controller, it is again auto-inserted near instantly? Not facing this issue with the physical Disc ejection button itself.

I have never ejected a disk from the Home Screen before! Didn’t know it was an option.

My 9 year son just got one of these.

I take it im better setting up account in his name but with all my details.....it will be less hassle?

still have PTSD from working across 3 Switch child accounts

Yeah, Sony ard pretty hot on age restrictions. My son was prevented from playing FIFA online for a few years because we set up the account in his name.

does the dualsense controller have fewer vibrations/haptics if a headphone is pluged in

Think I had this issue on my PS4 once

That's what I've always done. And then don't put credit card details on the childs account so they can't buy sh1t

playstationers - how is the FF10 remake? Is it any good? Does it hold up? It's on sale right now on Xbox and am tempted...

It reduces it if you're using the controller microphone I know that but doubt it would also reduce it if you're using the jack.

God of War is £43 on PS Store. Is that a good price?

Ragnorak? If so yeah not bad but you could probably get it cheaper. Incredible game. Just released a free dlc that’s a lot of fun too.
Yeah Ragnarok. I've never actually played the first, is that a big issue?
Is the dlc the Valhalla level? That looks so good too.

The first is still a brilliant game and looks great on the ps5 with the Pro upgrade so I’d get that before Ragnorak. Also Ragnorak pretty much directly follows the plot of the first.

Appreciate that. I'll get the first first then.

Seems like it reduces it automatically if the microphone is on.

Weird

Fantastic month for Ps Plus essential

Plague Tale Requilme
Evil West
Nobody saves the world

All games I’m interested in especially the first.

You really should play the first. It’s incredible and given it is a narrative driven adventure I don’t think your experience with Ragnarok will be complete without it.

Had this one on my wish list for a while but never wanted to actually pay for it so that’s decent for once.

I'd say the only system seller so far is Spider-Man 2 which is why I've not bothered getting one until now. I mean I love Ratchet and Clank but it's not a £400 game.

But they're starting to come in so I've bought a PS5... but not got Spider-Man 2 yet

That is legit one of the greatest months I can remember. All three on my wishlist, all games I've wanted to play for a while now but didn't get the sort of discount I wanted. Brilliant selection.
