Gaming PlayStation 5

Not even 20 hours..

Didn't buy God of War yet and Horizon FW sucked.
God of War is fantastic. But not sure if you liked previous one or not

Did you like the first Horizon game? The 2nd was just more of the same. Thought it was very good

Played the hell out of the Origins next-gen patch.

691 hours - 21 games (dunno why image says 15, the wrap-up section says 21) - 778 trophies (10 platinums)

Top 5 Games

Gems of War - 252 (purely because I first played it six years ago and wanted to cut down the trophies I'm missing)
Yakuza Zero - 98
Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition - 57
Yakuza Kiwami - 44
Yakuza Kiwami 2 - 44

1. Yakuza Zero - 147h
2. Tales of Arise - 111h
3. Horizon Forbidden West - 111h
4. PGA TOUR 2K21 - 83h
5. PGA TOUR 2K23 - 77h

Christ this is embarrassing.

I dont think i could post my pc playing stats
Elden Ring 377 hours
I don’t have a gaming pc but I do have a series x and if I had to guess I reckon about 250 to 300 hours to add onto my 800 ps5 hours. I don’t think I played much switch this year. Maybe only about 20 hours or so

Still it’s a pretty shameful year and can’t even blame covid

468 hours

Elden Ring - 173 hours
Horizon FW - 71 hours
God of War: Ragnarok - 69 hours (I think a good chunk of this might have been spent leaving the game on pause)
God of War - 46 hours
Spiderman - 28 hours

Only 277 hours. Fatherhood has definitely eaten into my gaming time.

Elden Ring most played at 66 hours.
Ragnarok was second with 30 hours.

614 hours.

383 on Fifa 22
231 on Fifa 21

I will be rectifying this with a week long RDR2 binge over Xmas.

You'll barely have scratched the surface of Repentance with those number.

To be fair my total BOI play time over the last 3 years is closer to 700 hours. I've got one challenge to do then most of the check marks on the tainted characters. I've got all but a dozen or so hard check marks for normal characters. Can't master the lost or Jacob and Esau

I spent 86% of my gaming time playing Destiny 2. I think I should probably stop playing that game.

1136 hours overall.

2 years since I got my PS5, which was also my first console. Kept playing some nice games like Arkham Knight, GOW 3, GTA 5, Persona 5 and the usual Fifa sessions with friends.

However I recently started playing Demon Souls, and wow. What a game! Truly clicked with me. Love the ambience of the whole game, and the challenge in some areas. Just finished NG and am on to start NG+.

Magic didn't really click with me, so I went with Winged Spear initially and then the Meat cleaver. Heard NG+ is really hard, so looking forward to it!

I always thought popcorn entertainment to be beneath you chap :) I stand corrected!

I'm all for a good walking simulator, Death Stranding has to be the king right? I know it's going to be a commitment but I'm up for it. A game like that deserves to be played even if my eventual opinion may be negative.

Just caught your lone defender status in the DS thread :)

Haha I know I can be a pretentious tit but I'm always happy with popcorn entertainment. It's melodrama I struggle with :)

That used to be me. I was down to a mere 150 hours of destiny 2 this year, but since it launched I'm at least 3-4k hours I would think :o

Edit, that's across destiny 1 and 2 I should add.

Bought Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. It's good for the nostalgia and they polished it up nicely, but how dare they charge 59 euro's for this 15 year old crap

I was hoping to get this at Xmas. Never played the psp version.

It's a fun game, though a bit dated. If you're a fan of Final Fantasy (7 in particular), you should definitely get it.

yep, I figured that the way they’re doing the remake and the fact the same voice characters are in this one means they will probably link them all together with whatever way they’re taking the remake.

Man I really need to get back into gaming next year.

Yeah they'll naturally take up more play time as they're the one's you'll keep coming back to now and then for a game. It probably skews them ahead of games you actually properly enjoyed.

Picked up a new PS5 yesterday for downstairs. Managed to get one about a month after it was released, and one for a friend a week later too.

They seem to be regularly on the shelf now in the UK. Smyths Toys, Currys and Game seem to have them in stock most times I am in. Got a Nintendo Switch too yesterday.

Not overly bothered by the VR for PS5, I would have been interested until I saw the price. Not a chance.

Question - ray tracing mode on my PS5 seems to stutter, like not even 30 fps it feels like 20 fps or less. Have I got some setting wrong (resolution etc)?

Edit - I've seen games on Ray tracing mode on YouTube and they're so much smoother than for me.
