Happy I'm not alone on this. Couldnt get past the initial stage. It felt kinda cool but the gameplay is just bollocks.
Really enjoyed control just a big fan of any decent fast paced combat game, bayonetta, ninja gaiden, nioh, sekiro and so on.

19 was on PS+. The installable mods make it a bit better, but yeah Control is even worse imo.

Farming Sim definitely isn't a bad game! It has a cult following. The people who are interested in Farming or Sims generally think it's good whereas the people who think it's going to be shit and boring before they even play it will confirm their view, it's not going to be anything other than what it says on the tin.
Personally not into it but a mate of mine is so I played a few hours with him and I could see the appeal of the gameplay loop if I was at all interested in the subject.

FS19 struck me as a game that some care went into it. Good models, a reasonable economy system (although could be much improved), placeables so you can be creative, supporting mods that really add to the detail of the game. I couldn't fault it that much for mechanics, just not my subject matter and they have to stay faithful to that.
I think in the SIM genre it is not a bad game. So many low effort cash grabs out there that people will buy because of a really niche interest.

Fair enough! I think the only real difference to those titles is it's a different loop. But there's always some kind of monotony in Sims I guess. Then again I've not played them. £17 we’ll spent so far. Plays very well. Very dramatic form the off.
I agree with everyone saying control is rubbish, absolute dogshit. Felt ripped off even though it was free.

Control is fecking brilliant. No taste in here it seems. Intriguing setting, great combat, and a wonderful sense of exploration. The story is a little esoteric, granted, but I can overlook that when there's so much imagination and creativity going into the game. Particularly when some of the biggest games around (sales-wise) are very safe and pretty boring.
Control is great. Any game that lets me fight through a maze while heavy metal plays is alright in my book.

How is the combat in Control good? Does it get better because it was pretty standard fare early in the game when I gave up.
The setting was also just some offices. And buildings. If it changed after that it’s the games fault for being so boring that people don’t continue with it. It felt like every generic fps I’d ever played.
I really enjoyed Control, that's all I have to say.

Is anybody facing flickering issues with the PS5? I have tried and changed almost every setting (picture settings on TV and frame rate settings on the PS) but it still happens at random times.
Sounds like more of an issue with the HDMI cable? take it out and blow on the ends to clean them. If it still persists try a different cable.Is anybody facing flickering issues with the PS5? You get more powers later on but the game has an impressive ability of making superpowers a snoozefest.
Think there are a lot of good games out there across consoles. Also think you perhaps need to give games a chance you wouldn’t normally (Returnal for example).
I’m hoping there’s going to be some DLC announced soon.
I've bought Train Sim World 2, being delivered today. Needed a game to chill out to, and I thought driving trains should be a simple enough way.
