Gaming PlayStation 5

I finally managed to order one after trying for months, didn't think it was going to happen today after experiencing an incredible amount of errors and feckups.

The amount of times the console would disappear from my basket randomly was frustrating.

So glad I can relax now and no longer have to get up at stupid times trying to buy one.

I can't wait to finally play Demon's Souls.
I know, I can go back to being a lazy sod rather than reaching for my phone to check stock at 6am every morning.

Good stuff that, I'm not going to be ready to re play that again any time soon though.

Finished HZD. Usually I’m not a big fan of open world games but I found this a lot of fun & the story was really interesting. Completed a lot of the side missions before finishing the main story, something I don’t normally do but I just loved the combat in this game & found enough intrigue in the narrative to keep me engaged. The visuals are stunning. Cannot wait for the sequel!

I haven't played it yet, the wait has been worth it! I'm even tempted to wait for the TLOU1 remake and to play them together.

I just bought the original FF7 since it's on sale. Never played it before and figured it'll make my experience with the remake even better. I'll play it as soon as I'm done with the ME trilogy.

Timesplitters is coming back along with free radical and some of the original team.

I’ll believe it when I see it. The amount of Timesplitters revivals I’ve gotten my hopes up for :(

Oh I just realised the normal PS5 controller was white. Won't a black controller look stupid alongside a white box.
We should have official faceplate changes in different colours coming at some point. Think you can already buy knock off ones from China etc.

My PS5 has just been sitting there for the last few months. Nothing really interesting to play atm.

Same. I played through Hellblade again and sadly, I've been tootling along with Car Mechanic Simulator but nothing much. Really need some more titles soon.

So you're saying I shouldn't buy a PS5? But I've only got 10 minutes left on the queue.

Heard it was really short and had awful voice acting.
About 10 hours to complete on first playthrough. I think it’s worth it if you’re into multiple playthroughs of a game, but I think you get bored after you’ve done a game!

Wouldn’t be a Resi game without some bad voice acting.

Yeah I can't afford to spend 70 quid for a game that short at the minute!

Buy one, great bit of kit, just early days regarding software. Stay the course :)

I just want to fulfil my childhood dream of owning all the consoles at once.

Edit: Dream fulfilled

managed to pick one up the other day in the latest amazon stock. does anyone have any recommendations for any local co-op games for young’uns to play (under 7s)?

It works well for games built for dualsense, but I still find the back triggers annoyingly overly sensitive in other games.

Have been randomly firing off rounds all the time while playing mass effect when my fat finger just lightly grazes R2

Same, have clicked the renegade R2 option a few times because my finger grazed R2. Playing as paragon so have to load and restart. Annoying.

Sorry, no interest whatsoever in becoming an accessory to grooming

Are you sure the mechanism hasn't gone on your right trigger?

I had the same issue with a controller early on and it was caused by the spring coming out of place and making the R2 button lose all resistance.

I don't have much resistance in games like mass effect but it works fine in PS5 games like Spiderman MM
