Pulse headset just arrived! Ordered it about a week ago so I’m very pleased with that turn around.
Wasn't there confirmation the noisier consoles are just part of a certain batch of consoles?
Mine is constantly silent, and beyond some crashes in the first few days, Cyberpunk notwithstanding, I've had zero issues with the console itself.

Destruction All Stars is a lot more appealing as a PS+ title

Sony are usually good for refunding games that are on PS+ shortly after purchase.

Finally managed to order the Pulse 3D off Gamestop. Not sure how much I'll even use them but.. well.. I mean.. they match the colour of the other things and it completes the set so.. yay?

Received the same e-mail and found the timing weird too. My annual subscription doesn’t get debited till October.
It's a matter of legislation eBay and PayPal offer you buyer protection because it's covered under consumer laws etc. The moment any seller requires you to go to WhatsApp or some external communication app and facilitate a transaction exchange it's 100% fraud. The only option I can think of for you to do is perhaps do a chargeback via your bank account.
Same however the noise completely goes when no disk is in the drive.
Can't believe it mate, ordered it yesterday and it dispatched earlier today! Should have it by Friday! Excited is an understatement!!
