Gaming PlayStation 5

There's definitely something up with my console.

Miles doesn't install properly. Everytime I put the disc in i have to fully install. I assume it'll be the same for Sackboy. Demon's Souls is fine though.

There is an issue with installs for games you install by disc after your initial setup install if you insert a disc at that point.

People on reddit are experiencing the same issue so hopefully it's patched soon but it's fecking annoying. I have to wait for games to reinstall if I want to play them.

Anyone know how to just close a game? UI is very confusing at the min.

@Alock1 had no issues. You need to give the fanboy stuff a bit of a rest. We know you like Xbox, but no need to make up problems when there isn’t any. Enjoy PS5 day. Isn’t that right @esmufc07?

@Alock1 Current set up (as I said, ignore the horrible cable management! I keep moving things around and haven't settled on a layout yet)

Also a small, and I mean very small, fraction of the games we currently have out to hand. (360/Gamecube ones are behind )

How are you guys finding downloads I’m having a nightmare here with modern warfare and Cold War. Taking very long and saying I don’t have enough space?

PSN will be under a lot of pressure with downloads tonight, itl probably get faster as time passes

its if you click copy instead of just waiting for it to automatically start

Currys use DPD, so you should be fine.

Most the problems with deliveries are Yodel and Amazon so far.

OK thanks thats good to know, how can they think they will get away with it I know resale value is insane but surely its not worth your job and how do they know what it is in the parcel.

It'll have to go in a cat proof place if I manage to eventually get him one, his ps4 controller was plugged in charging earlier and the plump ragdoll charged between the stand and the charging cable, taking the charging cable with her, launching the controller into oblivion...

I hope so just set it on rest mode and going to bed, maybe just a few teething problems and be okay in the morning.

Weird, now someone said something about Spider-Man. I ejected my disc and put it back in it and it’s not installed?

As I just said it’s a bug where if you click copy instead of waiting for it to automatically install it deletes itself everytime for any game

Just setting it up and i have realised that i bought PS Now membership thinking it was PS Plus on prime day and it can't be returned :(

Finally got all my consoles. Just the 6 this time. Pretty poor result considering the circumstances. 5 are going on eBay @Pexbo.

I've just done a factory reset. Reinstalling Demon's Souls now, I have a feeling Miles is bugged though. I'm having install issues with it and my brothers keeps crashing.

feck me

Haha jesus those cables hurts.

Crazy impressive collection though!! Apparently you have no Xbox games at all.

Ratchet & Clank crashed 3 times on loading with an unknown error. Anyone else tried it yet?

Astros is better than cool I underappreciated it earlier. The rumble feels like when you start on Mario Odyssey with the joy cons at first but then once you hit rain, wind etc it's another level. Hard to know how much is the vibration and how much is the sound that is giving that sense of immersion but either way the two combined are class.

I've always disliked the speaker on the ds4. Felt gimmicky and in most games was implemented terribly, often annoyingly so. But it's incredible here.

As much as it isn't a 'tight' platformer. It definitely has a 3d Mario feel to it, probably more the early levels which are about exploring cool concepts.

What? That whole back row is 360 with a stack of Gamecube! (did you spot the cube?) My boner stuff is with my brother.

Like I said, that's a fraction mate, one day I hope to get a room where I can get my entire collection out. I'll have to find it all first, some of my more obscure stuff (Jaguar, TurboGFX, etc) are in lofts round family's places

That's crazy!

A room would be amazing. You need a proper man cave with some sort of system for this.

I hadn't zoomed in to see the 360 games no. On the Cube, there's a super monkey ball type level in Astrobot to bring the nostalgia.

Absolutely amazing piece if technology. It is big but surprisingly nicer in person and very quiet unless you insert a disk. The haptic feedback really is something to be experienced rather than explained, will be a game changer if implemented into games to best of it's abilities. Only problem I'm having is download speeds, not sure if it's the PSN servers or on my end, anyone else running slow on that end? Put it in rest mode for now anyway to see if that speeds things up.
