Mine doesn't.
Haven't had a console since the PS2. I want to get one of these. Should i? I'm generally shit at games, now that the world has moved towards online gaming, will I enjoy it or will 12 year old be constantly killing me or shitting all over me in FIFA and so on?
It's supposed to wobble if you apply downwards pressure on the left hand side, there is no foot under it there because it wasn't designed to have one.
Hmm I'll check that when I get home as well. When you say left hand side, do you mean the side where the disc tray is located? Or left if you're looking at it lying horizontal (ie the shiny part)?

I pressed down on the side where the disc drive is and it didn't move at all, unless you really need to push down hard
There are plenty of single player games out there, I rarely play online at all
The shiny part. If it's not vertical there is no foot underneath on that side, its located left middle under the non-shiny part, all the feet are under that.
Turn it upside down and look where the feet are.
Why on earth would anyone spend 400 quid on a console with PS2 graphics.
Can anybody shed some light on PS Plus? Is it required to play online now? Or are there certain game modes unavailable to non-subscribers?
I think you need it to play online now.
PS Plus is 100% required for multiplayer.
I got mine, there were actually around 10-15 in public sales as opposed to over 50 they promised but thanks to my pre-order I had no issues.
So far:
FIFA14 - absolutely brilliant, streets ahead of PS3 version for me and aestethically pleasing.
Battlefield 4 - brilliant graphics, had some fun with 64-player mode but need to play more.
NFS Rivals - also beautiful and surprisingly decent handling, should be plenty of fun.
Resogun - not my cup of tea so far.
Contrast - intruguing.
Killzone - only a small amount of time but again wow for the graphics,
I got AC4 but cannot upgrade it to PS4 as PSN won't work.
Pad is brilliant.
I thought I'd be going back to PS3 a lot but with FIFA and Battlefield playing and looking the way they do I probably won't.

It must be only certain countries, because it's been fine for me on PS4 and VITA all day.
PSN works, you just can't redeem any vouchers at the minute so the PS3>PS4 upgrade isn't possible. I was planning to do the same with Battlefield 4, but with no PS+ or PSN yet the PS4 is about as good as a paperweight to me
Steal of a deal. Camera alone is at least £40, controller another £40 and a game at least £40.
It works now, AC4 is downloading but I won't play it today.

Brought BF4 through PSN, downloaded quick enough.. Managed to install the game and play at 25% install, got through the first mission and now can't play the rest or MP because install only at 30%

Warframe is quite a fun experience. Graphics are more ps3 than 4 but for free I'm not complaining.

Lads what's the story with standby mode? At the moment I am turning the whole thing off as opposed to using standby as that is what I of course done for the PS3. Would I be better off putting it in standby mode instead? Or is that only for when I need to leave it and come back again in an hour or so?
Unless you plan on downloading stuff while its "off" then there's no point at the moment

Brilliant, managed to get one delivered today (relative went to Argos early for me yesterday and got one delivered from there). Set things up and looks great but will start playing properly tonight.

Ordered mine to be delivered just after Christmas. Going on holiday tomorrow so won't miss out on it too much. Hoping the games get a little bit cheaper by then too.
Mine was dispatched for collection at Tesco. They updated it to dispatched last night but no update today. Click and Collect is usually a 24 hour thing too.
Got hold of one after much hassle. Got BF4, Madden, FIFA and Killzone. GAME have an offer where you can get games for cheap (Injustice and Lego Marvel are half price)...you need a receipt though, so going to borrow one if a mate as I got it from Argos and pick them up.
So far Remote Play has worked brilliantly for me with everything except FIFA which looks too similar to a Vita version and somehow doesn't play as good as with a pad.
I will be eagerly awaiting your opinions on madden. I am unsure if I should get it or not.
Long story but my original PS4 order was cancelled, so I ordered Madden online as I could wait but managed to get another and yet to receive Madden in the post...so can't give you a proper opinion yet but a mate has it and described it as "solid". From everything I've read it's much the same (not a big graphical leap) but they've improved the AI of the offensive/defensive lines, so they react to plays much better and won't just leave massive gaps to allow big run plays - apparently the running game has been refined too, so no more 10 yard carries every run. Either way, I reckon if you didn't et a current gen version, it should be worth it but don't expect big strides.
