 I love that Kaz Hirai twitter account

No one's forcing anyone to buy them so I really don't mind remasters, as long as they dont cost a ton to make or hold up development of any new titles from the studios that made them. Most of these remasters are contracted out to studios who specialise in that field anyway, with the exception of The Last of Us though Naughty Dog said after they were glad they did it themselves as it gave them a better understaing of how to code for the PS4.

Well that's the thing, I fear this has become the trend for a lot of studios. Why bother putting the time and resources into a new, original IP when you can just take an older game, add some higher res textures and higher framerates and release it again.

Funny The Last Guardian has been mentioned, that's pretty much the main reason I bought a PS4, seems to have been in vain now.

Naughty Dog is a big enough studio that they can pretty much push out a remastered collection and it won't effect their output for Uncharted 4 or whatever else they are working on in the background (be that TLOU 2 or a new IP).

So yeah I agree, remasters are annoying if they effect a studios ability to push out new content. Uncharted are too good a games to not get a collection of some kind though and its only going to drive sales for Uncharted 4, it's so logical it was inevitable.

I beat UC1&2 (platinumed) and got tired about halfway through UC3. Great news for those who want to give the series a spin, I guess, but they're bang average games covered up by great (at the time) graphics and a focus on the cinematic... It gets tired pretty quickly, to be honest.

I don't think Naughty Dog are making the remaster. Apparently it's blupoint studio doing uncharted.

UC3 is bad but the other two, especially the second are brilliant.

They have two teams, one working on Uncharted 4 and the other working on another game.

I doubt they have the resources to work on a remastered as well.

Officially announced, October 7th Europe and October 9th US.

No multiplayer except Uncharted 4 beta :(

Brilliantly paced & acted, sure, but the gameplay is still not great. UC2 multiplayer was surprisingly fun, though...

UC 1&2 were not average games.

The gameplay was average, and that's all that matters to me. As I said, the graphics & cinematic aspects of Uncharted were great. Kinda like playing through Die Hard.

I also didn't find the gameplay of Uncharted to be that great.

Uncharted 1 was ok, 2 was fun and looked great and 3 good but got a bit boring. The story for the games could have been better I thought. It didn't really interest me despite it having good characters. Plus the supernatural stuff seemed to come out of nowhere.

Also why are they showing all the stuff at E3 now? Unless they got something amazing lined up, which I don't think they have for this year. That question goes for Bethseda too. Couldn't they wait a week?

Because it got leaked accidentally.

My 12 month Playstion Plus just expired, where's cheapest to get it folks? £39.99 on PS Store seems a bit expensive to me.

Naughty Dog are/have not done the UC Remastered port. It's some other company.

Naughty dog is NOT doing the remastered port. Their time and resources are all into UC4 game.

So ready at dawn will be self publishing their next game. Which means most likely that there won't a sequel to the order. Happy days.

Super Meat Boy is coming to PS4 (and PS+) :) Enjoy it, lads n ladies.

For anyone thinking of buying Super Meat Boy it's worth watching this documentary - Indie Game The Movie. Makes you really appreciate the amount of effort and time that goes into these games(Also the two blokes two made Super Meat Boy seem really nice)

Definitely worth taking a look at... It might put you off Braid & FEZ, though  (Not me personally).

I love SMB, enjoy FEZ... But Braid? I just don't enjoy it.

Anyone have an idea of what I could get for a launch PS4 (250gb I presume?) with Driveclub, FIFA, GTA, Destiny and Killzone?
