Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Yeah it's pretty easy to do. I put my old 1TB HD in my PS4 when I upgraded my iMac to a SSD.

Piece of cake to swap out compared to the fecking iMac

Hey chaps- i'm quite new to PS4 and was trying to work out if you can play movies via a USB flashdrive?

Will it even be added at this stage, you reckon?

They've always said they will but at this point who knows. It's incredible they've taken this long. I don't know anything about programming but it surely can't be that difficult.

It's definitely not difficult, it's a very standard feature. Really frustrating.

PS+ for April

Entering PS Plus:
8th April: Tower of Guns (PS4/PS3)
8th April: Never Alone (PS4)
8th April: Dishonored (PS3)
8th April: Aaru’s Awakening (PS4/PS3)
8th April: Killzone Mercenary (PS Vita)
8th April: MonsterBag (PS Vita)

Looks like a backlog month for me, Never Alone looks interesting and Killzone will be added to the pile of games I'll have when I finally pick up a dirt cheap vita.

Killzone is really good on the Vita the only issue is the painful to use thumbsticks.

Glad I didnt sold my ps3. Dishonored, here I come.

Also just a heads up, The walking dead s2 ep1 is free on PS3.

Remember when they said you'd be able to trial all games for like 1 hour before buying, is that still on the horizon or have they stopped talking about it?

Was it through PS Now or could you just download that portion of the game? It was a feature I was really interested in, and would love to play a few of the games on the store for a while. There's barely any demos about.

I doubt it's a feature that the devs/publishers are fans of mind so wouldn't be surprised to see it disappear.

I'm sure it'll come sooner or later.

I wanna try MLB nowwww though. Leg-end said he would share play, but I don't think I could really get the feel for a sports game when there's someone watching. I'd feel like I had limited time too, cause it's stopping them from playing, so would rush doing shit and just make a fool of myself.

It's a sports game, give us a demo Sony.

Remote play works terribly for me in my room. Keeps cutting out and quality is awful. Problem is, my router is far away, the signal is shit. It doesn't affect the PS4 too much though as I use network adapters, which obviously aren't compatible with the Vita.

You can do it through Wifi direct though right?

You can set up a direct link, from Weaste's advice way back, I set that up, and had a cable wired from my router which is in another room to my PS4, and with this setup remote play has been excellent.

Yeah I just tried direct link and worked great. Granted, I was sat 1m away from the PS4.

Just a shame about the controls letting it down for most games. I can use it for Drive Club though and PS+ games.
