Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

I dunno, I watched a youtube vid about it last night, and they said all the best stuff is forged from collectibles in game, so maybe we'll be alright?

Oh if that's the case we could be fine. I've already forged a new sword, just finished after we finished playing

I got MLB from the US store, it was very easy although I cannot play it on the other account - I have to switch accounts to play (it says it can only be played on the account it belongs to). Mind you it's not much of a hassle and the game looks and plays absolutely brilliant. I have very little clue about baseball so I'll just take White Sox (I used to go to their games in the US) and play full season with them.

This has the potential to be another NBA for me in that I'll find myself absolutely glued to a sport that I almost never watch normally. I guess I have to buy Madden at some point too (used to love previous games).

When you look at NBA and MLB - graphics, gameplay, the feeling of a sport event while playng it, then as good as the new FIFA is it really puts it to shame.

Why cant you play it on your other accounts? Have you activated that PS4 as your console on your US account?

Do you believe all that? I think it's a wind-up to be honest...

I think it's got too many heavy hitters for Sony there. I expected the bolded is most likely true, they're all sensible enough.

The Last Guardian would be a big deal for me, if it ever actually comes.

It's mostly feasible, but like you say, it ticks too many boxes... It's too good to be true, anyone who bites on this is likely to be a touch disappointed come June.

Are they going to give us a way to organise the tiles on the PS4 os? I can see that it's going to get a bit... annoying, for me, as I like to have a bit of order.

The Show was always the best sports game on the PS3, I expect it will take some beating on the PS4 too. It's just so tucked away outside of the US nobody really bothers to try it and they should. But yeah you absolutely should be able to play the game on other accounts, try the primary account thing.

They definately will eventually.

I haven't tried it because baseball slurps the shit out of a dead wino's ass.

Primary account could work.

180 hahahahahahaha or something

Isn't driveclub basically an online racer ? It's all about the social networking and shit? So without ps plus it would be a bit shit anyway.

Was a stupid move by them in the first place. First I'd heard of it. Idiots.

I thought that after the original reveal but it seems like it was a lot of buzzwords that you see most racers doing at the mo. If you've played Forza Horizon it'll be like that or the new NFSs where you're constantly given the chance beat friends speeds at random junctions like traffic lights, speed cameras and all that. Then I think your single player racing xp goes towards a club that you are a part of it but who cares about that?
Obviously it'll have online racers and stuff but I don't think the focus is on that as much as they had us believed.

Less ambitious, but probably the right decision. It all sounded interesting but I'm not sure if it would have worked well..

But yeah, it's more that if you have the ps+ edition and then upgrade for $50 instead of buying it for $60 you'd lose it after unsubscribing which is ridiculous. They've gone back on that now which is all good.

New gameplay at about 3pm from IGN by the way.

Do our current ps plus "free games" disappear when our subs do?

I'm not even that I streets in drive club these days. Will get the free version, but project CARS is my preferred choice at the minute. Could all change though.

Yep, that's Xbox's excuse for giving shit games on GWG. You get to keep them, even if you only had the sub for 1 month.

I'd take it the PS+ way personally (well, we all would) and have it like a rental system. Much better than shit games! Amazing quality..

Though, feck knows is PS+ would have had had the quality it's had in recent years if it had had the Xbox Live subscription numbers.. Dunno if publishers would have been so keen to release their top titles to 20m or whatever it is over the small PS+ numbers.

EDIT: Both sound pretty pointless, just buzz words, harmless mind and basically featured on all driving games these days bar the pure sims.

The Crew will be the one to really move us forward in that direction, that'll probably have shit gameplay instead.

Looking forward to seeing the gameplay, it looked good last time.

Looks good, way more interesting than having another Gran Turismo. Graphics are good, nothing about the gameplay grabs me but they never do in racing games do they? It's all about how it feels. Forza, GT - all sim or half sim are boring to watch.

I just watched 2 trailers, which were really cool, but neither had gameplay!

Saw like 20 seconds of a guy doing nothing in an off-screen clip but couldn't gain any real take on it from it. Definitely interested.

You seen any proper gameplay footage paceme?

Annoyingly no. I don't think they've released any yet. If you find the page on igns website for the game and read the preview there's two of their presenters talking about the gameplay abit. Seems it will be similar to child of light without the flying though.

I am really impressed with the graphic, so darn realistic! But not sure about getting one though as I have no clue about the game at all...

Skip this years Madden unless you see it cheap. In true EA Sports nature they've not done anything really impressive for the next gen version :(

Not even superior graphics? FIFA looks significantly better even if it's still underwhelming compared to the other two gems of sports games I have been playing.

I stayed up until 1am yesterday playing bitch of a game against Dodgers. Took me 17 innings to finish and it ended 2-1 to them. I was 1-0 up in 12th with two outs for Dodgers and they hit a freaking homerun to make it 1-1. Crazy game defensively.

I blame PES for not doing a better job graphic-wise (and not released it on next gen) that would have forced FIFA to up their game more.

Who were you playing as?
