Got mine when it came out with Fifa 14, BF4 & COD, probably didn't need to bother. Don't find COD or BF4 fun, Fifa is missing my favourite feature (to play with a guest online) even though it's on the PS3 version. Haven't played it in ages, waiting for Uncharted to save the day.

I hope that there will be a few surprises on the way which I can pick up and enjoy but it seems these days the games are either blockbuster sequels (copy/paste type games) or completely shit, and not much in between!

I've enjoyed COD in the past (COD4, Black Ops & to an extent MW2) so took a punt on it, and everyone raves about BF so much I thought it must be worth a shot with next-gen graphics too but the BF series fails to get me addicted at all.
 
Soooo... maybe you should have held off getting a console at launch?

No I don't think so not really noticed many at all since I started playing it though to be honest.
The occasional glitch when I run but it's an online game, you've got to expect that sometimes.

None of the games you mentioned would make me consider buying an under powered console like the Xbone.

PS+ is keeping me ticking over until the games that will blow xbox out of the water arrive.

Ah, yes, I've had a little of both undoubtedly on Naval strike. But it has never made me quit the server, always stopped after a few seconds or so.

DICE is planning to upgrade its hardware to improve server performance and hopefully resolve Battlefield 4 rubber-banding issues.

The studio said in a blog post that problems with lag are affecting users on certain platforms during 64-player matches.

"Looking into this further, we're unhappy with our server performance, so we'll be upgrading the hardware as soon as possible, investing more to deliver a better experience.

"As soon as we know the exact timetable, we'll let you know the ETA. Reducing lag for these players is absolutely a TOP priority for us to solve and we expect to have the solution very soon."

The biggest error/glitch I find is that when first on a server, textures don't load and audio doesn't begin for a few seconds - but it doesn't bother me much. People make lots of glitches, I find them funny more than anything else.
 
Yeah, that happens to me, too. That I can live with.

Apparently if you search "test" there is a DICE test server. It is 64 player Conquest on Operation Mortar and works flawlessly every time.

Interesting - shame it isn't operation locker. That map is an exp. goldmine.
 
I think BF4 is great, massive step up after playing COD for so long. It's just so annoying though to buy the game late and find out you can't play half the game modes as you don't have the dlc, which is about 40£ for all of it

I guess I'd buy Dead Rising if I had the console anyway. Absolutely zero interest in the other three.
 
I swore to never buy a Call Of Duty game again now that I've gotten into Battlefield. Titanfall seems to play a lot like that series(only with robots), so I'd have probably stayed clear.
