PL Matchday 2 | 24/8/24 - 25/8/24

No Way.... Steve Cooper will keep us up.

Just thought you looked completely outplayed most of the first half.

But I’ll be honest, it was a very premature prediction

Do hope you stay up, btw.

Thanks ... Me Too.
Not sure why but in both games so far we've been really poor in the first half.

Anything happened in the second half of any game yet?

Arsenal 2-1 Leicester. Nice goal from Iwobi

We have made two teams that have been a bit better than average look like world beaters.

You've got a pretty nice run of games after the Villa match. December doesn't look good though.

I still think we will be fine, it's just depressing that August is basically a write off all the time and that we make sloppy individual mistakes over and over again.

Last season we didn't win a game until the 6th and we still finished with 48 points.

All it takes in this league is a run of 5 or 6 games and you're right at mid table again.

rico lewis like one more coat of polish away from being a very very good player.

As poor as Everton are they still might stay up as the three that got promoted (Southampton,Ipswich,Leicester) will do well to not drop straight back to the championship.

2 games doesn't really mean anything. By about the 10th game you can start to see who is really in trouble. As said above we took until the 6th game to win our first and we still finished with 48 points overall.

Even this early that was a poor result for Southampton. Forest at home is exactly the type of game you need to be winning to stay up and they were comfortably dominated today and never really looked like scoring. Also couldn't score despite playing 10 men for over 70 minutes last week.

Southampton are going to be exactly like Burnley aren't they?
