Yea I like a lot of the current crop, it's a good time for golf.

This whole course is nice, too much bloody water for me though, I reckon I'd need a few dozen balls to get round here :lol:

I loved that game. Me and a few mates back in the day used to buy a crate of beer and order a pizza on a Friday night and spend all night playing either Tiger Woods or GTA :lol:

I just ordered Rory McIlroy from the PS Store. I can't be arsed with all the violent ones at the moment, and seeing as I have at least another 2 months off work, I should have time to play it :lol:

Gutted Day went in the drink, he hits it bloody miles though.

:( Shame, I loved all the Tiger games. It's only £15.99 so not a big loss if it's not that great.

That's why i'm gutted I missed the Hawaii comps earlier this year, they play at ridiculous altitudes and silly heat, I bet Day and Speith and co were knocking it stupid distances. :wenger:

Yea I only really picked up watching when I made the thread, bet they were hitting it miles.

£16 is a good deal, even if it's limited it'll be worth that I'm sure.
 
Yeah, that's what I thought. Will let you know when I give it a go. Scared to look at the moment as it's 29 gig and that could take months with my connection. For some reason the PS4 always d/l extremely slowly anyway. Saying that though, my net speed doubled this week for no reason at all. Went from 6kbs to 1.2mbs. Bonus.

Bad luck then for Adam Scott, mind you, he's been doing well enough recently. It sucks really as Sawgrass used to be next weekend until they moved it up to later in the year and after the Masters. :( Love Sawgrass. (as I have said millions of times before)

Sawgrass was the first course I knew, from playing the TPC at Sawgrass on repeat on the epic PGA Tour game on the Amiga as a kid, check out these badass graphics:

I remember it well. PGA Tour golf classic, played it on the Mega Drive too. The birds tweeting was such an amazing sound, just fit the game perfectly. I think they were actually harder than the modern games. :wenger:

Adam Scott's putting stats are insane compared to last year, begs the question about why he stuck with his belly putter at all? You would expect his stats to be awful this year in comparison. Such a batshit game, but that's why we love it.

That's probably why he hasn't won yet despite being on tour for 6 years. That's a beginners putt. Well played for his second attempt though.
