One of my favourite posters but no surprise.
His wind ups weren't even all that bad really and usually very obvious, some posters just get all uppity whenever anything negative is said about United and that's where the arguments/problems lie.
Difficult situation to mod, hence why it's no surprise.

Never understood the Caf love in for him. Nothing intelligent or funny about him, just piss poor wumming on a regular basis. Deserved and well overdue.
I thought he was pretty funny. One of the better posters for sure and looks like a very harsh ban.
And his bad wind ups weren't annoying like Glastonspurs

His enthusiasm for football really shone through on the podcasts from years ago.
I reckon he must have been different in his early days here and those of you around back then remember him fondly from that. I've been coming here since about 2010 and every post of his I've ever read since then was utter shite. Just as bad as Glaston for me, and that's saying something.

Were all the infractions for calling someone a twat or something like that? Is that stuff reprimanded when seen or only when someone reports it?
It's a tricky business. There were many infractions. Don't agree with a permaban. A month or two is surely enough. He isn't a horrible person and should be executed like that.

He had eight infractions over the past couple of years and most of them weren't because of his wumming. As for him not seeming to be rude, the infraction log says otherwise.
I liked him in the CE forum.

Indication of how "sanitized" this place has become over the years. The Caf marches on as it always does, but the consensus is that it was better in the past.
Even Jesus was nailed to a cross and that turned out OK.
Meh I often battled Pete on here and he was a WUM but still its always sad to see long time posters go.

The Football part was definitely better, but I think the generals has became a lot better now too.
As opposed to the early days where casual racism wasnt unusual. Today's CAF is much better than its ever been...which is an accomplishment given how much bigger it is compared to 1999 or 2008.
Agreed, I've had him on ignore for over a year.
Shame, one of caf's biggest legend, IMO. CAF won't be the same without him same as PL without Wenger when he retires. I mean, no one really likes Wenger, but everyone appreciates the old guy.
The guy's been banned for almost a month, if the caf won't be the same you'd think it would have been noticed quicker.
