I just went into Woolworths, and found they had Halo 3 on display, with a price tag, at no1 in the chart.

True, but I use an adaptor for my HTPC so I can use my PS2 pads, plus the fact there are patches and updates readily available for the PC version which makes it more appealing then any console version, having said that I will probably bite the bullet and get a PS3 at the end of the year, I am becoming tired of Microsoft products!

The original game International Superstar Soccer (it's former name) started out on the Super Nintendo. It's also never had any exclusivity rights to stop them been produced on other consoles.
While PES has always been a playstation game.
I don't see what ISS has to do with this, and I never said anything about exclusivity. Maybe you should look at the context of my post.
Something interesting about this PES is that the PS2 version will probably outsell all of the rest put together.

Exactly, you do not need an XBox to play it on.
I do expect however that the majority of people who play PES have played it on a Playstation and have go used to the Playstation controller. That is all.
Only due to the fact that at the time they was no decent other console to create a game for. As soon as the Xbox was released they created the game for that as well, the 360 is the only next gen console to have PES6, doesn't make it an xbox 360 game though does it?

I downloaded the fifa 08 beta the other day, its just fifa 07 with newer looking power bars. Which is nice, because I was worried they weren't going to sort out the major issues.
