Desperately sad news for the PL if this means what it probably means.
That isn’t a retweet. He just retweeted it like a lot of other Journo's
Multiple reports months ago that he himself wanted to complete 10 seasons, and also the fact that with the Club World Cup in june, switching managers next summer wasn't really something the club nor Pep were keen at. A year extension were always the most likely option. This isn't really breaking news tonight, it gained traction a couple of days ago.Which reports?
City couldnt possibly know that at this point unless someone on the Independant Panel is leaking info to them which is highly unlikely.
You being a tweet policeman with some of awfully sourced tweets you insist on posting is quite amusing. No offence. He just retweeted it like a lot of other Journo's
Are you imagining this?Multiple reports months ago that he himself wanted to complete 10 seasons, and also the fact that with the Club World Cup in june, switching managers next summer wasn't really something the club nor Pep were keen at. That isn’t a retweet.
I don’t think you understand what retweeting is mate.He litterally copied and pasted what was said by the Athletic and even creditted them
What are your endgame here? Are you imagining this?
You’re trying to play this off as common knowledge pretty much which is obviously bollocks. What are your endgame here?
It was common knowledge among City fans that this was likely. One simple google search will show you that this certainly didn't come out of nowhere. You’re trying to play this off as common knowledge pretty much which is obviously bollocks.

They can’t buy it. If they could, they’d have stopped the PL getting to this stage.about as clear an indication as you could get that they've bought their way out of punishment
Copying a tweet and retweeting are two different things.Retweeting is copying someone elses tweet and reposting it either by clicking the retweet button or using copy and paste.
Why would it mean that? This has to mean they're confident of no punishment?
AgainGood. Hope Amorim drills him a new one
Why would it mean that?
They can’t buy it. If they could, they’d have stopped the PL getting to this stage.
They’ll be guilty, it’s a question of how many of the 130 charges they win/lose… as that’ll dictate the punishment.
Fridays PL vote will impact too.
Did you say the same when Pellegrini signed a new contract extension a few months before he announced he would be leaving? Not a surprise at all, baffling that so many on here had it as a foregone conclusion that this was his last season
It's looking less and less likely they're going to be able to keep doing that, considering how often they've lost so far this season.Good news. He'll stop pool from winning the league until we sort ourselves out.
People assuming he wouldn’t sign on if they’re gonna be in the championship
This is up there with 9/11
If there were multiple reports about him signing a new contract leading up to it, then probably yeah.Did you say the same when Pellegrini signed a new contract extension a few months before he announced he would be leaving?
I find this really, really interesting!!Pep fancies a dabble in the Championship. Fair play.
Does your friend think he wants to manage in the championship or something?I find this really, really interesting!!
Had a chat with a city supporting mate the other day and he was absolutely adamant that the only way Pep stays is if they were to get relegated.
I asked that question and he blathered on about how it’s ‘his personality’ and something that he has always done. It was complete nonsense but he was besides himself about it and adamant that the only circumstance that he would stay was if they got relegated.Does your friend think he wants to manage in the championship or something?
To think City’s owners wouldn’t have stopped this before now if they could, is very naive… given more corrupt things happen every day (including by them) and that they’re a nation state with Govt ties, unlimited wealth and the best sports lawyer in the country. They tried to stop the Oct case being heard but it was … they said they’d win all the charges but they didn’t.Of course they can. They're a nation state and this has gone on for years - the people involved can change and be subject to manipulation at different times. To think city are incapable of influencing the outcome of this is very naive - way way more corrupt things happen every day. I'm not saying of course that this is definitely what's happened, but I do think, that for some odd reason, they are obviously very confident that they will start next season in a position guardiola will be happy with. Very weird to sign this contract now otherwise, and the fact that they must know something is itself a terrible sign of how the process has went
Think that was swiftly dealt withThis thread needs more analysis of the differences between copy & pasting a tweet verses retweeting.
