In all 3 games there was contact...thats teh distinction that I'm making, one that you're too rattled to allow yourself to understand

I accept that diving is cheating, I don't accept that exaggeration is not.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Well everyone's a cheat then in your book...or the vast majority of strikers anyway..
RVN especially as he does both exageration and diving

could he not have simply made a mistake??

just a thought.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Course he could...
I'm not trying to suggest I've got the guaranteed answer...just making a suggestion that you fail to even consider because you don't like the implications for one of your fav players..

I agree
Giggzy will talk to you about Owen for 3 pages now..

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> Yes. Owen, Diouf and Heskey too. Bigger cheats perhaps.
There's a double standard at work here. If Van Nistelrooy is a cheat, as he certainly seems to be getting a reputation for (which I would still say is unjustified, for various reasons), then so is every Liverpool striker I have ever seen.

There's no double standard at work at all...
Diouf does go down looking for free kicks etc that are not there..I readily admit it and wish he'd feckin stop it, as along with the holding up of a pretend card to try to get another player booked, it is my pet hate in football...
Owen and Heskey don't go down when they haven't been touched tho...tho they do exagerate the fall when they are fouled...
But then I guess I'mj ust being myopic, unlike you Mancs who don't think RVN cheated against Ipswich....

Go back to Koptalk then.
I've my own opinions, which at least are based on the same standards.

So by this theory the guy that got Rio booked yesterday was not a cheat? And Rivaldo wasn't a cheat in the World Cup, right?

Don't be daft..
There's a big difference between trying to win a penalty when you are actually fouled and trying to get a man sent off with a pathetic dive..
Rio was stupid tho

Not beaten Davo, but there is no point arguing with the terminally blind or biased.
You carry on in your own happy little world, and keep taking the medication

Sorry Davo, which particular post is it not related to!
You don't appear to be able to see that there are EMPHASISING contact is just as dishonest as any other form of cheating! Going of the same logic, it could be argued that RVN EMPHASISED his contact with an uneven piece of turf, or a blade of grass! Both are just as dishonest, and the fact that you are more likely to get away with one than the other doesn't change that one little bit.
Why not just be honest, and admit that Owen is as much a cheat, and diver as any other international forward

You're back on topic now, which I suppose I should be thankful for...
But what you say is rubbish...which comes as a huge shock to me I can tell you!

Ah well Davo, the's none so blind as those who will not see!

It depends on what you deem the cause of blindness...
Personally I just think blind people are extremely lazy

Come on Davo - answer my question

"Hat Trick" is what I believe you're looking for..
