Reinforcement Rules

Your max value of squad for the QF is now 730m so essentially that's 60m more for you, if you spend all the 670m budget in the first round.

You can sell two players and draft one in a single turn and then draft the second player (with no sales) on your second turn. Essentially player sales are a free action. This should allow a better use of the budget.

e.g First turn - sell van Hanagem 75 and Stielike 55. So reinforcement budget is now 75+55+60 (the extra fund per reinforcement round) = 190. So you would have 190 to spend on two players. You must however draft two players to make your squad equal 14 by the end of the round.

Obviously you could just sell one player per pick round too (maybe because you want to see what others are up to) but it should give some more flexibility.

Amended - For the reinforcements for you can have a maximum pick of two players per round up to a maximum of five total reinforcements I'd you reach the final.

Players drafted from defeated managers are available as are previously undrafted players. Also players sold by drafters in the reinforcement round will be available for drafting but only in subsequent reinforcement rounds. For example, if I sell Godin in the QF reinforcement round no other drafter can pick him in that round of drafting, however he would be available to draft in the reinforcements for the SF.

Reinforcements start tomorrow at 12pm. The only question is should I continue to add the the pick times of the reinforcements?

It's gonna be on weekend. I'm leaning to not counting the time, so we can enjoy the weekend more.
 
I just realized that all 3 of my picks for best drafted team lost in the first round

We did it before in the Serie A draft. Personally I’m not a great fan of them, but I think once you’ve started it’s only fair to continue them on till the end.
 
I think we'll stick with the pick times for reinforcements too. It won't make that much difference to the overall average pick time anyway.

It basically allowed you to reinforce 2 for the QF, 1 for the SF and 2 for the Final. Or 1 2 2 rather than just the current 2 2 1

I understand not wanting to change the rules but I don't think it changes that much. My concern is you could have a quite a bit of cash left over as the specific players you want you can't afford then if you reach the final the single reinforcement will mean you can only reinforce once but have the means to buy the two players you always actually wanted. It's mainly about having flexible use of the budget and not having funds not used.

I don't think this will change anyone's strategy this round as everyone will want two new players. It's mainly about the SF and Final

Are you happy with how the general reinforcement rule works?

Sales are a free action so you can sell two players and buy one on a single turn. You will though have to draft another when it comes round to you as you need to have 14 players in the squad for matches. You have a total budget for QF of 730m.
 
I think we'll go with minor rule change. The thread mark re-reinforcements has been amended
