The fact his agent is talking to us for past 2/3 days shows there is a willingness to sign for us. I'm more confident as time goes on. If he wasn't interested deal would have never got off the ground on day 1. I struggle to remember a deal United didn't close over terms.. as long as ed doesn't use the Disneyland for adults line like he did on klopp we should be ok. Hopefully

But yeah I get your point, think deals fall through for Ramsey bale robben and ox too but terms were agreed but they just decide to go else where. Hopefully this one gets over the line. And hopefully this south American works out for us. Not too many do

With Ramsey we had an agreement with the club where we received permission to talk to Ramsey, but we weren't the only ones.
Obvious isn’t it ? So he helps Verratti settle in when we sign him on Thursday.

Feeling more and more like this could actually happen. The formalities are being ironed out and it's just a matter of time. I think we've been working on a deal for him for a while and it isn't as sudden as everyone thinks.

1. Sarri leaks to Pedulla that he wants a striker, juve want to balance books, Lukaku-Dybala swap deal is preferred as Sarri seems him as surplus to requirement.
2. Dybala finds out, likely via press, doesn't know what to think/believe, likely asks for a meeting for clarification
3. Juve get a deal sorted between clubs and lukaku
4. Dybala sees writing on the wall, sends agent to talk negotiate terms
5. Dybala still wants to confirm with Sarri, suggests playing another role
6. Original story confirmed Sarri wants a ready made, out-and-out striker, not a makeshift.
7. Dybala agent talks increase further.
Funny feeling this could be confirmed on Sunday evening, don't ask me why.
