Paulo Dybala

Attack is the 1st form of defence. We've also got a way better back 4 now, also consider most of our opponents attacks came down our right side... That ain't happening with AWB there.
Yadda yadda yadda.

I’d love it to work and would be happy to be proven wrong. Just can’t see it working.

Anyways let’s see if we sign both and then how OGS deals with it.

I'm kind of amazed at how determined Juventus seem to get rid of Dybala. He's a top class player who seemingly really wants to stay at the club. He's not on crazy money like Bale at Madrid and I've never seen anything to suggest he's not popular with the fans and his teammates. He's not injury prone. He's not old. I don't get why they are behaving this way.

They need to replace the big man which is Higuain/Mandzukic who are 31/33. Lukaku is that guy at 26 years of age. Dybala's job can be done by a winger they already have if 5 goals is his all and he can be sold for 80 million to buy a forward or swapped for one. Dybala is best as a second striker. He's an expensive ornament that doesn't work with the decor anymore.

They might also feel with Ronaldo they didn't get the goal a game Ronaldo and are looking at different setups. Some will say it's age though. Ronnie will be in his left hand side spot with the freedom to go anywhere.

Why? It’s where he plays for us and every game this preseason.

It’s even where he plays for France. Some people are clueless ffs hahah

I love how aggressive you are, but over a 60 match season, we’d have problems with this formation. Mbappe papers over A LOT of cracks. Remember, Matuidi was playing on the left of this 4-2-3-1 for France in the World Cup. Mbappe is so good, he basically occupies two CBs...

Don’t need a YouTube VDO by a spotty millennial to educate myself

Perfectly capable of thinking on my own.
Sorry boss but ive never played FM ...

Sorry but it clearly seems like you don’t understand formations and could use the video, just my honest $0.02

...a formation doesn’t stay the same from kickoff to the 90th minute you know..

If you eliminate your ignorance, you'd actually know that that video was quite interesting and very informative and actually learn something. Because that video is very in depth and I'd be surprised if you knew everything that was said in that vid.

The very fact you took the time to highlight this gentlemans age, tells me you disregarded everything he said just because of his age. Which is highly disrespectful, by the looks of things he's in his late 20's if anything.

Side note: "Millennials" is anyone born between 1981-1996 so you can be a Millennial at 37........

The term Millennials is a crazy one, calling them spotty millennials, which ultimately brings connotations of the word with: no real career prospects and don't know hard work if it hit them in the face, or can't stand losing/understanding the real world....but who raised "Millennials" ??? hmmmm

Irony is that that silly "YouTube video" probably took at least 40hrs to make. But hey..."Spotty Millennials and there YouTube eh?"

You can only really allow one player complete freedom like that, and they have Ronaldo. Dybala is the one they need to get rid of to get the best out of Ronaldo and the team as a whole. I personally think it was short sighted to go down the route of signing Ronaldo, they've thrown all their eggs in one basket for the CL and now they have to do everything to try and make it work in the next few years. Dybala could have been at the club for the rest of his career, such is his loyalty and affinity with the club and it's fans.

Perhaps next time you won’t needlessly insult someone if you want them to take your post seriously? Normally works.

Did they field that as a starting XI last season?

A quick google shows they did against Arsenal in February. And in a friendly last week. I’m sure there’s been other times over the last two seasons.

Every thing you write is correct and thank you for taking the time to chide me. I’ll have a watch of the VDO and let you know what I learned.

Ah do you know what he said after "yesterday night" in the podcast with skysports?

That Dybala was upset and frustrated with Juve and is now concentrating on the United offer.

Think we will use Dybala as a #10
in our 4-2-3-1 in Lingard/Mata’s place, and maybe in big games we go 3 in midfield and have

Rashford-Dybala-Martial

With Dybala as false 9.

Wonder when people are going to start getting annoyed at Gen Z instead of Millennials. Most Millennials are 30+ ffs.

Millennial is catchier.

To be fair, most people annoyed at millennials are actually annoyed at Gen Z's

A guy in work went on a rant about millenials last year and then had it pointed out to him he too was actually a millenial, was a pretty enjoyable little scene.

Was thinking the same thing. We get blamed for every new trend like we aren't just a bunch of old people with kids

It must be FFP related, plus a strong preference of the coach, who probably negotiated it as a requirement when he was hired.
Can’t see how it’s FFP related. It’s a swap so they are not clearing their books, if anything could end up paying Lukaku more than Dybala. Moise Kean may have been more to do with FFP.

If he doesn't want to come then let him be.
Get what we can for Lukaku. He's only worth what people are prepared to pay for him.
The way I see it we are swapping one want-away forward for another.

If he isn’t coming then I don’t think Lukaku is going anywhere. We don’t have time to go out and sign a replacement.

Then it’s purely tactical.

I still maintain that Lukaku could never succeed at United as we never created a team to play to his strengths.

If Juve can provide proper supply lines Lukaku will score like never before in his career.

Sad it didn’t work for him at our club. He’s a good lad.

Thats all well and good, and something we've known for a while...
BUT we still don't know if Dybala will accept our offer. It's safe to say Lukaku DGAF, judging by his tweets tonight, and will be happy to get out of here, but Dybala seems to be resisting the move and there is still a little bit to do

Don’t think we will agree to that. Even Pogba and DDG had their wages reduced for not qualifying?
Neither should we agree to that. There has to be collective accountability for failing to reach minimum standards.

His negotiating position isn’t that strong now. Great offer and plenty of games from an club that wants him vs zidane type silent treatment and very few games if he stays at Juve.

I mean, look at this!:drool:

Think Ronaldo will have a say in that
